This holiday season has gone by so fast and trying to fit in all those fun activities that we love to do around this year has not been the easiest.

We love this easy and fun alternative way to decorate cookies this year by using NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels.

We went to our local Dollar General Store and got the perfect deal which you can get also by clicking HERE.

We melted our NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels in a sauce pan on medium heat until melted and then dipped our sugar cookies in the melted NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels.

This year I made some cookie name tags and punched little holes in them with a straw for the ribbon to go through.

How quickly our life has changed this past month.

Our routine has totally done a flip and I’m still in wonder how easily we transitioned into this new phase.

We go to bed before ten every night, wake up before the sun even decides its morning and our day starts. Feet running and head foggy still in dreamland searching for coffee.

Getting Zoey dressed, hair done and ready to get on the school bus.

That one hour before the bus arrives goes by in a whirlwind.

I still don’t know how I manage to wake up enough to do her hair. Ive never been a morning person.

Put a cup of coffee in my hand before my eyes open and then I will love you and mornings forever.

I am beginning to think I need to get a Coffee Maker.

I LOVE my frenchpress but I think I can get Joel (my darling husband) to make me a cup of coffee in the morning if all he had to do was press button.

 See its all a plot to get my husband to bring me coffee in bed lol.

After Zoey is off to school the feeling of “wow we did it” is like a mental high five to ourselves.

With only having Poet for eight hours would seem to make the day just seem a breeze with all the time in the world to get things accomplished- but for some weird and totally unfair reason  my day seems shorter! How is this even possible??!

The best part of the day though is when Zoey gets home from school and she and Poet run towards each other as though they hadn’t seen each other in weeks.

Our New Crazy We call Normal. How quickly our life has changed this past month. Our routine has totally done a flip and I'm still in wonder how easily we transitioned into this new phase.

I just love this time of year so much- Last year the girls and I started this new tradition of making Christmas ornaments out of pine cones and acorns we would find in the woods.

This year we are going to make some fall decorations from nature too.

Pinterest is where we love to go to to get some inspiration.

This fall we have picked our favorite four projects to make and then share with you all.

We already started collecting things-

Some gorgeous fall leaves that we got from Up North while visiting some friends

Road trips are the best and bringing home back some of the nature we found along the way just makes the project that more sentimental.

We cant wait to show you how our fall DIY projects turn out- and we would love to hear about your favorite traditions you like to do this Fall Season.

I love the holidays, I love the shopping and the bustle of it all.
