The things heaven shunned Aziraphale for, for example, his love of earthly goods such as food and books, Crowley LOVES about him! He loves the bookshop, he takes him out for food and stares at him like hes going to devour him.

Nobody bothered to ask Newt why his car is called Dick Turpin, but Anathema did.

This one gif sums up, completely, how I best like to think of Crowley and Aziraphale. Which is a little odd, maybe, considering this footage came from between takes, but to me it encompasses them wonderfully. Crowley bringing joy to Aziraphale simply by being there beside him and saying something which seems absurdly silly at the time but will later make the angel see the world in a new light, through Crowley's lenses. Aziraphale's smile and laughter flooding Crowley's chest with the best feeling he's ever known. And, of course, the Bentley.

In the midst of the griping about THEY DIDN'T REALLY KISS I'm glad someone finally spotted the religious symbolism. Crowley kissed Aziraphale like a character from one of his favorite films, clumsily and out of desperation. Aziraphale kisses Crowley like he's a holy relic, like he contains the meaning of everything. @krakensdottir

okay so I’m not gonna make this a super long drawn-out post or anything because I don’t have my thoughts together enough for that yet. but generally the way I feel about the ending of Good Omens is divided pretty cleanly in two:

1) I am very sad that we didn’t get to see Aziraphale and Crowley have a happy ending in their own universe;

and

2) I think it’s a love letter to humanity that it ended the way it did. I also think it’s insanely beautiful and poignant that the ending is basically “their souls will always find their way back to each other in every universe, forever.” I genuinely can’t think about that too much or it makes me forget how to breathe and swallow.

This was always going to be complicated. There was never going to be a clean and easy way out, as much as we all wished there would be.

I will never stop thinking about these two, in all of their incarnations and across all universes (including the one we watched over the course of the series), finding each other and falling in love and proving that there is so much value in daring to question and to break the cycle and to make sacrifices and to LOVE.

I love them. I always will.
