Page five of the monologue... and Spinel's STILL justifying her crime.

Spinel once more thinks about what she had planned to do - destroy the Earth with the bio-poison. And as we know from the movie, that plan failed, and also would have left Spinel with literally nothing to do. (I sorta touched on this topic with my really old oneshot "Nightmares" on my main blog, in which we see Spinel's first plan actually succeeding... and a possible end to what she would do afterwards.)

Spinel says to herself she believes that kidnapping Steven will have less repercussions than destroying his planet... but this is yet to be confirmed. Of course, she can't ordain anything yet.

(Little bit of a filler page, but its still important ^^ also once again, I'm using the official Steven Universe Earth map (link to fandom gallery) which looks quite different from our real one!!! Personally I'm just glad that South Australia is still in one piece XD) (also yeah we get a huge spotlight on Australia in this page because I want everyone to know where I come from LOL)

I had a horrible idea for a comic yesterday and I drew it

(and if it’s not as obvious as i wanted it to be, yes, Spinel was having a bath with Steven. shh.)

My first thought actually was something like

Spinel fled from the crime scene and hid in the bathroom (cuz Steven forgot to lock the door before taking the shower, accidentally, who doesn’t ONCE in one’s life, duh), and before scared as heck and flustered Steven could kick the gem outa room (with words only and with shower curtain closed, of course, my imagination isn’t that shameless yet... >////<) Amethyst shows up, and he covers for her so later he can ask a favor, cuz she can be annoying or something whatever

And before I saw what’s written on the bottom of the post and what actually the comic turns out to be about, I thought “someone. Anyone. I NEED a fic about it”.

I’m gonna take part in Frans week this year (and for the first time in my life, lol, I’m nervous) to start AT LEAST WITH SOMETHING. Cuz all I have now are a few old drawings and they’re nothing. Another reason is, whenever I draw, I come up with more details and ideas, and to start drawing I need… a lotta inspiration and buttkicks. So I’ve been hoping that forcing myself to draw something theme-related (the have a plan for week so I used it) will help my imagination work. …and it actually helped :O

I’m still not sure if Frans should be canon (or part of canon? since it most likely depends on what player chooses), so nothing scary here, just a few little mostly-fluffy comics.

I'm doing subtitles for Hazbin Hotel Pilot (translating it and doing subs, to be more exact) and... since there is no full text of the episode in the Internet (only a few quotes for every character on Wiki and maybe subs on videos on Vivzie's YT channel helped) I made almost everything by ear. I'm super serious.

Voice actors did a great job, their characters talk very clear and it's not that hard to hear what they say, but there is still a few phrases that keep me really puzzled, especially if they talk too fast.

So... I've been hopeful that someone who talks English or at least comprehends it better than me could help me with them?.. please?..

I cant even watch the Pilot anymore because of certain disabilities since there are no actual subs.

I have to strain my eyes and pause multiple times just to understand the dialouge.

Its actually painful since I just want to be able to actually enjoy it.

Just dubs who despite being great and all... but still inconveince 70% of the audience who are more than just french or Japanesse.

Its honestly ableist (unintentionally) that they still dont have subs despite the repeated outcry of multuple disabled and or foreign Hazbin fans.

Hazbin Hotel deserves to be for all to be able to experince it.

Foreign.

Hard of hearing.

Deaf.

Neurodivergent.

EVERYONE.

So seeing people actually attempting to create subtitles is a GODSENT.

Second... my Q_Q. I even feel ashamed now... I’m making Pilot with Russian translation, and it was the first reason I asked for help (I’m Russian and there already ARE a few, but every single sub I watched was inaccurate and wasn’t made properly, especially if we talk about the jokes. I wanted something quality for Russian audience)...

But I never knew there’s a problem with... with English subs for a show where the main language is English??? I’m shoked!..

About 90% of subs is done so far, and now that I have the whole frigging transcript of the episode, I think it won’t be too hard to remake ‘em back to original.
