Honestly hbomberguy's video on the issues the show has from a narrative perspective slaps and he put things into words that I hadn't been able to fully do so myself every time I've talked about those issues before hand (in private and online)

As a long time fan of the series I'm right there with him when this shit just breaks my heart and I want so terribly for this to be a show that is worthy of Monty's legacy, I just.... I unfortunately don't really see it becoming everything it could have been and should have been.

Cinder and Neo's partnership is very toxic. This isn't even hating on Cinder, like... yeah Neo is supposedly back in the plot to help make Cinder's storyline more interesting but like... Neo has literally done most of the work (get to Atlas, find Ruby and the relic, and steal the relic) and Cinder is so rude to her!

Akdkska yeah! Neo's biding her time and acting the good henchman and all, but it's just showing how unhinged and selfish Cinder is. She's always been self centered, but now she's so insecure too. Her greed is going to be her downfall and I can't wait for Neo to be there to take advantage of it~

I could write essays about Cinder and why her ego blinds her, but man. Yeah. It's absolutely toxic but don't forget that Neo is using her too. Just not for Ruby.

For real guys, I know I've been super quiet but this volume had very little Neo content for me to clean any Roman content off of. Sorry I've been so quiet! I know Mod Roman has been killing it with the new art reblogs ✨✨
