bishop — self explanatory i feel like. looks at u in the eyes. she is so important and got me through like. so much bad stuff. embarrassed a little to say thinking abt him and writing abt alien stuff at large got me thru a pretty awful breakup / several huge life transitions buuuut it's just the truth yes. <3 it lead me to so many beautiful new friends too.. i love androids i love these movies.. i want to read aliens bug hunt next & see their ideas on bishop's origins hmm

fouchon — perhaps not so self explanatory but yea he's lance's gayest character like it's undeniable and i have such a huge headworld for hard target teeming in my cranium. i think abt him so much. i want to dress him in fine silks and laces and make him embarrassed but it's ok i hid his gun <3

jesse — well. u know........... i love near dark + i love southern gothics + i love weird westerns and i love vampires and jesse encompasses it all very well... i can't believe he lost like 100 lbs for this role girl u are insaaaane bc tbh he only weighs that much to begin with lol. thats a skelling ton under there. also we have to watch living in darkness asap can we do that this week while im out sick

frank black — i mean dude yeah. the guy™. i think frank encompasses a lot of just.. lance as a person.... he's a wonderful dad and has a strong sense of justice but is also very patient and kind. i think lance is goofier ofc but frank is tortured by visions so yk.

honorable sixth mention.. torquemada — horrible evil rat. ahhaaheha. i love it. he's like a caravaggio painting come to life. character that exists as an example of chiaroscuro in all scenes. he's always scrabbling around and hissing. i think knowing what was going on in the background production of this film adds to it. like. probably the funniest film to decide to do method acting on. wtf is his problem

close calls: randy (winnipeg run) + hank (survival quest)... i love all of lance's characters + can find something interesting in each of them bc he's just that good at what he does. and yes this includes garm wars idc. i watch movies for their potential not for whats given to me. unless its funnier to just take them raw uncooked and then yes lets dogpile
