This a list of all the cons/scams/grifts that the Leverage team names during the show. Included is everything from a small one-on-one interaction between a grifter and a mark (eg. Little Orphan Annie) to full blown multilevel integrated cons (eg. The White Rabbit). If it had a name, it’s here.
If it has a black star beside it, it has a canon explanation or demonstration (eg. The Moonwalking Bear). If it has a white star, there were hints or comparisons made about it (eg. The Apple Pie is “like the Cherry Pie, but with lifeguards”). If it’s hyperlinked, it’s a real life scam and the link is to Wikipedia. If it’s totally unmarked, then the name was mentioned but never elaborated upon and is a part of the team’s beautiful argot. :)

i guess that i put too much stock on their clean break from hutton, because i really am both disappointed and surprised that dean devlin, john rogers and electric entertainment have taken the stance of ignoring and dismissing the workplace sexual harassment allegations against christian kane and the alleged widespread 'boys' club' culture in their production. it looks like the electric team is perfectly happy to continue collaborating with and enabling predatory misogynists as long as it doesn't make any big headlines.
so. i think it's clear where (some) of the cast stands.

Finished season one of Leverage. Starting season two. I love how Nate keeps trying to be like “and now the job is done and our time together is—” and everyone else is like “our time together is now free for movie nights, I agree.” Nate’s determined this won’t be a found family and the rest are like please daddy may we do some moral crime
He thinks he’s the adult in the room but he’s actually the toddler who keeps getting tricked into eating vegetables, and the vegetables are major financial crime
