< SUNDAY: RINAâS DORM >
in which harin rants to @lgcrina about the legacy project.
frankly speaking, harin is not happy at all. how could anyone be fine after finding out they are ranked #7 (or even lower) among the other girls? maybe sheâs overreacting, but thatâs how she feels about her ranking in the show. itâs unfortunate that her friends are all above her either, so she literally has no one to rant about it --- she canât possibly rant to those friends, of course, and thatâs why sheâs here at dorm f, hoping that at least miyeon or rina are here to listen to her whining. seems like luck is on her side this time, and as soon as she sees rina she canât help but sigh in relief, eventually cracking a smile at the other girl. âthank god youâre here,â she says. âare you free now? i mean iâm still gonna bother you if you arenât anyways.âÂ
she just needs someone to talk to, someone thatâs not in the future dreams show. rina seems like the right person. harin believes theyâre close, remembers how well of a good listener the other girl is. she feels like sheâs been telling rina a lot of stuffs all this while and itâs not often she does that with people, unless she finds them comfortable enough to do so. âyou know iâm in that future dreams show, right?â considering that itâs quite a big project, itâs impossible for any legacy trainee to not know about it. âif you were to rank me, which spot do you think i deserve?â she asks, head tilting to the side as she looks at her friend. âbe honest and tell me.â
< SATURDAY: LUNCH BREAK AT THE CAFETERIA >
in which harin gets upset when @lgcjaehwa sits with her.
harin is not afraid to be seen alone. in fact she loves doing things alone, so itâs not much of a surprise to find her sitting by herself during lunch break. usually she would drag anyone from her training group to eat together, but she doesnât mind having lunch on her own too. to harin, itâs better to sit alone rather than to have someone she doesnât know near her --- even worse to have someone she doesnât get along to sit at the same table, as that would only make her lose appetite instantly. she picks the seat at the very far corner, away from the rest of trainees, wants to just enjoy her meal quietly at the moment, hoping no oneâs nosy enough to sit here.Â
but of course, someone just gotta come over and sits right in front of her.Â
a sigh manages to escape her mouth as she stares at her food, finally lifting her head to find out that itâs jaehwa whoâs sitting with her now. she then turns to scan the whole room, only to realize that there are other empty seats the other girl could have chosen, yet she comes here. her motive? who knows. harin lets out another sigh before saying, âwhat makes you think that seat is available?â she knows itâs a stupid question, but she just canât help it. âyou could have at least asked first, you know. manners maketh man.â harin says in english, somehow finding that kingsman reference to be fitting for the situation. âi donât want you here,â she blurts out, looking at jaehwa with a straight face. she means no harm, she just doesnât want jaehwa here.
< LEGACY PROJECT: FUTURE DREAMS >
finding out sheâs ranked #7 in the show / word count: 385Â
truth to be told, sheâs afraid. she feels like sheâs not ready to be a part of this survival show. sheâs not ready, but she wants to. she wants to do this, wants to see where she stands among the other trainees. she wants the truth, yet sheâs not ready to embrace it. she often likes to think she has a high spot in terms of skills, or charisma, whatever it is that they are looking at.Â
she hopes she at least deserves the top five, if not the top three.Â
she says she doesnât have high expectations, but she does. anyone who joins this show would anyways. when she first steps into the main filming room, harin couldnât deny the fact that her heart is beating really fast. sheâs nervous, worried, excited, all at the same time. she canât decide if thatâs good, or if this what it feels like when shitâs about to go down. what if sheâs not in the range of rankings she hopes for? what if sheâs in the last rank?Â
she never thought how nerve-wrecking it could be to search for her assigned chair. she finds it almost immediately, and thatâs when she knows she doesnât make it to the top, instead she stays in the bottom line. what difference does it make though? she still feels like sheâs in the last spot, and itâs not helping that all of her friends are above her. she should be happy for them, of course, but right now thereâs only jealousy in her heart. whatâs worse is that jung miso is only a rank ahead of hers. how humiliating.Â
looks like this is going to be a tough competition. harin feels discouraged upon finding sheâs ranked #7 in the show, but that doesnât mean she would give up right away. sheâs determined to prove her worth, which is why she decides to join this project in the first place. maybe itâs better if she starts from the bottom and works her way up. itâs easier to acknowledge her presence that way, she thinks, so she sets her mind to work harder from now on. if she doesnât win this competition --- screw that ---- sheâd make sure she wins no matter what. she has to. she canât stay humiliated like this.Â
< INTERVIEW: FUTURE DREAMS >Â
âhow do you feel about your ranking?âÂ
honestly? she feels like she deserves better. she canât possibly be ranked #7 out of all these girls. she feels like shit, feels like every hard work sheâs put into her training has gone into the trash bin in just one second. she feels like sheâs been mistreated, and she wants to tell them so bad, but knows better it wonât do her any good. sheâs upset, yet she smiles at the interviewer before she finally says out her answer. âi thought i was gonna get that last spot. iâm glad i was wrong.â she lets out a laugh, pretends like sheâs relieved.Â
she feels like her eyes are welling up with tears right now, and as much as she hates to be seen crying on camera, she can just dismiss it as her feeling moved to find out that sheâs ranked higher that she has expected. little do they know that itâs the opposite --- sheâs probably tearing up because sheâs mad at herself, disappointed that sheâs given such a low rank despite how hard sheâs working. maybe sheâs not as good as she thinks she is, but harin would never admit it out loud. âi promise iâll work harder!â she says at last.
Dohyun had been walking through the halls, taking in the decorations, and actors dressed up with a child-like sense of glee when she had run into him, and his mind went blank. Shit.
âWhy are you yelling at me?â
at first it was tolerable to have these ghosts wandering around the corridors, given that they never touch or try to talk to her, but over time it has started to become really annoying. she decides she needs a restroom break from practice, she heads out of the room, only to be greeted by a few ghosts on her way. it would be a lie to say sheâs not affected after a while.
not in the sense that they creep her out or make her feel scared, no, but she feels bothered because they are everywhere in the corridors. the first time it happened, harin could still laugh. she finds it funny rather than scary, so she laughs. the second time, not so funny anymore. by now sheâs tired of seeing these ghosts around, even if they literally do nothing to her. she swears if she gets out from this restroom and another ghost comes at her, sheâs gonna snap for sure. sheâs had it enough, so when she finally heads out and sees someone, she wastes no time but to yell âjust quit it already!â right to their face. itâs not the smartest move, of course. itâs when she stops that she realizes she actually knows this ghost... fuck.Â
so instead of another ghost, harin ends up yelling at dohyun. park dohyun.Â
it doesnât make her feel less guilty about it though. this is probably one of the worst ways to greet an ex-boyfriend, but harin never knows what to do in that kind of situation anyways. once she finally manages to process whatâs happening and whoâs standing in front of her right now, she gives dohyun an eye roll before saying, âbecause i can?â somehow she has a strong feeling that this encounter is not gonna end well. they didnât anyways. âitâs hard not to when thereâs a lot of shit happening right now.â by a lot of shit she means the ghosts walking around and also the drastic change of look of their company building, and this, them meeting each other after their messy break up not too long ago. it feels so awkward to see him again here.
as if she jinxed it herself, she suddenly comes face to face with harin. eyes travel down to the face of the girl before they roll to the side. âyouâre in the way.â she says, softly enough to not be heard by anyone passing by. she might be in a bad mood, yet she doesnât plan on making a bad name for herself around people of the industry and legacyâs staff.
sheâs not happy. not because of the party, itâs too early to judge whether this one is going to be a good one --- she hopes it would, considering that she has gone through hell earlier in the day time. harin at least deserves some good ass halloween party, but sheâs not happy. this year she comes as a black swan, a concept she comes up with yejin, who turns into a white swan for this halloween. itâs not the usual ballet dancer costume sheâs wearing tonight, but instead she got herself some fancy black dress with feathers and a crown on her head, as she wants to be different in case someone else decides to show up with the same costume. god, she would be so mad if there are other swans than her and yejin at this party tonight.Â
so far everything is going pretty well for harin. sheâs still grumpy though, and somehow miso appears just in time to ruin her seemingly perfect night. oh, great. she manages to hold back a scoff upon hearing the other girlâs words, still remembers that sheâs currently at a company event, and there are definitely eyes watching them everywhere. âwhy donât you find another way then?â she tells miso, red lips curling into a fake smile. they might be in the public right now, but that wouldnât make harin any less petulant. if sheâs not having a good time, then no one should be, so she stays still in her place, doesnât show any sign that she would move to the side. if miso wants to get pass by her, maybe sheâs the one who supposes to be moving.
He let out a moody « and what if I dressed like that? itâs creepy and black. True Halloween mood right ? Weâre not going to fashion week. »
He immediatly regret his grumpiness. After all everyone was upset by the cream cannon.
upon hearing his words, harin shakes her head in disbelief. âi mean itâs black, but you call this creepy? this?â she points at his costume from head to toe, emphasizing on the mask on his hoodie. âthis is not creepy at all,â she comments. âif anything itâs... sad. tragic. embarrassing. i wouldnât suggest you to show up at the party like this.â this time she takes a few steps back, arms crossing across her chest as she scans his costume again for the god knows how many times that evening. sheâs just not happy with how he looks like in this outfit. it doesnât do peter any justice, even if he doesnât seem to care much about it. what matters now is that she does care. she wants him to look good, to look creepy, if thatâs what he wants.Â
âiâm not saying you should look like youâre going to fashion week. all i ask is for you to wear something more decent.â this time her voice sounds more encouraging, more gentle. she knows peter doesnât want her opinion, but that doesnât stop her from sticking her nose into his business. itâs not often she does this, so she doesnât quite understand either why sheâs eager to help him now. âiâm just doing you a favor here, oppa. youâre gonna thank me for telling you this,â she says, nodding her head once. âso you wanna be creepy? first, find another mask. that one is not creepy enough. second, get rid of that hoodie. i think we still have time to get a black hooded cape cloak now. you can be a grim reaper, that would be creepy. how does that sound to you?â she asks, head tilting to the side as she waits for his answer.
it happens for the third time when she leaves the restroom, hands pressed over her chest as she narrows her eyes at the âghostâ who, again, just passes by her. âso annoying,â she mumbled, clicking her tongue, frustration spreading across her face. charlie quicks turns left and sees someone again and sighs, âanother one, hm?â she thinks to herself as she continues with her steps before coming to a stop, âare you real? or one of those things?â itâs probably not right to call them âthingsâ, but her annoyance has past a level she could tolerate. rather than annoyed though, her voice sounded more cautious, hesitant even. like she was scared â which irked her even more.
harin is pretty sure sheâs not the type to forget things easily, at least not when it comes to a place she comes to nearly everyday for the past three years. but when she steps into the company building and realizes it looks a little different from what sheâs used to, she has to go back outside just to make sure itâs the right building. it does look the same from the outside, so it confuses her as to why the inside has changed so drastically, right now looking like itâs abandoned for a very long time when she has just been here yesterday. she ends up going inside anyways, only to have some ghosts passed by her on the way to the practice room. sheâs not easily scared so this is nothing, but it does bother her that the room looks kinda old.Â
quite frankly, harin enjoys halloween. she loves horror movies, loves the creepy elements. what she doesnât expect is for the company to transform the building into what seems like an abandoned warehouse. it would be a lie to say sheâs not impressed by their efforts, but right now she canât afford to think about anything else other than the future dreams project. she needs to set her priorities right, and thatâs why amidst all this confusing situation, she still manages to practice and pretends she doesnât hear the other trainees freaking out over the ghosts in the corridors. thatâs another thing that bothers her though. people get scared and they scream as if they are the only ones in the building. sometimes it interrupts her practice.Â
so she gets out, already annoyed at this point. she heads to the water dispenser to refill her bottle, only to be greeted by another ghost when she finally looks up. somehow it catches her off guard, and she has almost wanted to snap, but the ghost is gone again before she could even say anything. letting out a deep sigh, she makes her way back to the practice room, passes by another ghost, and another one near the restroom --- except this one actually talks, so harin stops walking and turns around to look at her. âi sure as hell am real. iâd be offended if you consider me... one of those things,â she replies, rosy lips curling downwards. âif thatâs how ghosts are in real life, i guess iâm hating them. theyâre almost as annoying as humans.â
however, it seems that for some people, itâs quite the opposite. heâd just finished cleaning up when he sees harin leaving the bathroom. seeing her expression tells him that sheâs likely gone through the same thing as he has and she is not happy. âwhy are you always mad at me when you see me?â he asks, crossing his arms as he moves to walk beside her. âdid i do something to upset you?â he really doesnât understand why this always seems to happen.
she would be a fool to think jaesun would listen to her this time and just let her be, so when his voice finally reaches her, she lets out a heavy sigh as she stops abruptly in her tracks. well, as expected. he never listens and always seems to have something to say whenever they see each other like this. once she manages to find enough courage (and patience) to turn around and face him, she takes a moment to stare at him before saying, âitâs not my fault that iâm always mad when i see you.â in her defense, itâs all about timing. he just seems to run into her whenever sheâs in a bad mood, so that should be his problem. she even warns him not to talk to her. âdidnât anyone ever tell you how annoying you are? like you donât even have to talk, your existence is already annoying as it is.â sheâs pretty sure she told him before.
âand which part of do not talk to me do you not understand, hm? itâs not like iâm speaking in a foreign language,â harin adds, rolling her eyes lazily at him. thank god sheâs still in her right mind to remember that theyâre still in the company building, that anyone could be watching, that she would be damned if anyone ever finds out sheâs disrespecting someone who is older than her, a more senior trainee at that. she could only hope thereâs no hidden camera where theyâre passing by, but sheâs way too upset to even think about that for now, so she huffs and frowns, still couldn't get the cream cannon incident out of her mind. âdid you get hit by that cream cannon too?â even if he did, she knows heâs not the type to get upset over it.
âreally?â she laughs, nose scrunching, âi like that one.â she admits, âi think the composition is compelling. the change up for the chorus is nice and i prefer the cadence of it to the chantier dallla dalla. i donât think my vocals would suit that well.â sheâs got a huskier sound than that, something a bit more rounded, a little bit soulful, slightly indie and r&b inspired. âbut i think i can suit latata the best, honestly. maybe because iâve practiced it so much now it feels like second nature already,â she laughs, threading her hand through her hair and tousling it up in disarray, folding her legs back in pretzel shaped with a sigh, draining the last of the water. âhonestly i think i could manage to find a bright side in most concepts.â she laughs, âunless we went like, old school snsd and broke out the prop lollipops. it might be hard to keep a straight face for that.âÂ
trainees like them should be able to fit into any kind of concept. itâs easier for the company, but maybe itâs not very much convenient for them. thatâs what harin thinks, because sheâs the type that wants to do what she wants to do. not just something sheâs thrown at and be expected for her to adapt to it, fake it until you make it kind of shit. she can try, of course. thatâs not even the hard part. she can pretend she doesnât mind. she can pretend it doesnât bother her to do something that she has no interest in, but after a couple years sheâll get tired of it. itâs one of the many flaws that she has --- harin can just easily give up on something when she no longer has the passion for it, even if itâs something she used to love doing for a very long time.
although her passion actually lies in doing music, she genuinely loves performing. it would be a shame if she ends up losing interest in it, considering that she doesnât have anything else she would rather do in case this career path is not working. she could go back to modelling or study business to take over her motherâs company, but she wants none of those.Â
âi guess different people have different taste then,â she remarks. itâs not surprising, but sheâs expected soho to be on her side. ânow that you said it, i think you kinda fit that song more than dalla dalla too." not that it means soho doesnât fit dalla dalla. she thinks soho can easily do the girl crush concept if she wants to, but to be honest she totally has that bim bam bum aesthetic in her compared to the dalla dalla song. after all itâs better to pick a song that fits their image the most, although sheâs aware that they still have to perform both songs and latata for the evaluation. âi know, right? i feel like i enjoy doing latata more because we practiced so much for it... like i just canât imagine myself performing anything else now,â she tells soho.Â
feeling like latata is already second nature by now? she can totally relate. finding a bright side in most concepts? this one harin couldnât relate. sheâs picky when it comes to what she wants to perform, even if she has no choice to be at the moment. she tends to put in less efforts when doing concepts she finds less compelling, in this case the bim bam bum song, which is something she knows soho wouldnât do. âhow cool,â she coos. âi wish i could find the bright side in most concepts like you do. itâs a lot of work to do a concept you canât enjoy.â a genuine compliment. âif i ever had to perform like that, with the lolipops, oh god, maybe iâd just rather quit.â itâs supposed to be a joke, but instead she only sounds like sheâs really offended by it.
âyou really think so? i donât hear that too often.â she giggles. there were not too many chances where yujin could show such a side, but when she does, she tries her best to look as natural as possible. could it be that sheâs been doing this for so long that sheâs grown accustom to so many things? is this what it feels like to be a senior? she wasnât too sure, but being a trainee is definitely worth the time and effort, sheâs learning just as much. becoming more and more ready to debut, whenever that day comes for her. âoh hush, youâre just trying to make me blush now.
truth to be told, harin didnât think she would ever get along with anyone when she first came into legacy. finding yujin here almost felt like a miracle, for that she knew she wonât have to go through everything alone if she had yujin by her side. harin was so used to being spoiled and taken care of at home, so things were very different when she had to live in the dorm and share space with the other girls. of course sheâs seen it coming, but she never knew how hard it was to live on her own until she began training here, having all privileges ripped off from her because everyone is treated the same here. she canât do anything as she pleases, as there are rules to follow and expectations to meet when she agrees to become a legacy trainee.Â
maybe if she never gave it a try, she would never find out what she really wants to do with her life. itâs true that her mother had everything planned for her, that she wouldnât have to worry about a thing if she just follows her assigned fate, but harin wants to do something that she wants to do, not because her mother wants her to. for now she decides she wants to become an idol, a successful one, and thatâs why sheâs still here after all this time.Â
thatâs why sheâs here with yujin, both participating in the future dreams show to prove their determination. she learns itâs nice to have someone she could share her dream with, knowing well that her dear mother would never be happy about her becoming an idol. harin smiles upon hearing yujinâs words, the accent somehow reminding her of their younger days spent together in australia. âi know,â she replies confidently. âthis song is literally made for me. i can feel it in my bones.â she lets a chuckle slip out, rosy lips spreading into a gummy smile. call her narcissistic, but sheâs very confident in what she does or says. itâs how she was raised, to think highly of herself at all time. some people find it charismatic, others think itâs arrogance.Â
âyou donât hear that too often? are you serious, unnie?â she asks, her tone a tad bit dramatic as she tilts her head to the side. âthat should be like... something normal for you now, i bet. i mean itâs true, youâre so good at everything. how could people not realize that and tell you? itâs impossible.â she shakes her head slightly, still keeping her gaze on yujin. at the latterâs next words though, she puts on a playful smirk. âis it working? did i make you blush?â she says, her eyes lighting up in excitement like a little child before she could let out a laugh. sheâs never been this mischievous around others. she doubts anyone would believe that someone like her could act like this, seeing how serious and easily ticked off she is most of the time.
âletâs take a break.â she dusts the dirt off her pants, looking in the mirror again. âyou know that dance? thank youâŠnext.â she sings lightheartedly as she waves her arms in a circle. âshe was so cute when she was performing it. if we learn it, doesnât that count as dance training?â yejin keeps humming the song, incorporating what little bit she knows into whatever she makes up on the spot. itâs almost like freestyling, except much worse.
harin knows they have already gone through the song for god knows how many times already by now, but that doesnât make her tired. she truly loves latata, and if they have to do it all over again for another week, she wonât even mind. learning the steps is easy, but harin always seems to struggle when it comes to doing the steps with the music. she would miss a beat or dance ahead of one, sometimes doing the step the opposite way instead.Â
sheâs hard on herself during practices, thinks of it as the only way to keep herself motivated. somehow the show makes all this a little easier, considering that sheâs been ranked quite low compared to the other girls right from the start. after all there are more trainees above harin at this moment, and she needs to surpass them in order to win this competition, so thereâs no more room for her to play around once she starts practicing.Â
but then yejin wants to take a break, and it has taken her a moment to process the words after being so focused on their session. upon hearing her friendâs question, she spreads a smile on her lips before saying, âthe one she did on ellen?â sure, sheâs seen the performance several times, but sheâs never thought of learning the dance. âyeah, i think that could be considered as dance training.â she lets out an amused laugh as she watches yejin.Â
âhonestly speaking i donât remember the dance much, but we can totally learn it. at least weâre still dancing, right?â harin finally gets up and stands next to yejin. âi mean we can make up a new dance for it too if you want,â she suggests, turning to look at the female. sheâs never tried to choreograph something before, but thereâs a first time to everything, and she believes they can come up with something good, maybe even better than the original.
< LEGACY PROJECT: FUTURE DREAMS >
future dreams promotional video in japanese / word count: 373
languages are almost as easy as breathing to lee harin, so when the company wants her to promote the legacy project in a foreign language, she doesnât have much problem with it. she is fluent in english, as thatâs the language sheâs most familiar with since she was little, being raised in australia and lived there for years. she also manages to pick up japanese along the way, her mother thinks it would beneficial for her in the future, so little harin was sent to learn another language. now the company lets her choose, whether to film the promotional video in english or japanese. sheâs way more comfortable speaking in english, which already feels like second nature to her by now, but in the end she decides on japanese instead.Â
once the cue is given and the cameraâs red light is on, harin curls her lips into a sweet smile as she looks in the front. âhello everyone! itâs lee harin from legacy,â she says in japanese, waving both hands happily towards the camera. âdo you know what is legacy project: future dreams?â she pauses for a second, as if to wait for the viewers to take a guess before she continues speaking. âitâs a new survival show based around legacyâs trainees, so make sure to watch it when the first episode starts airing on the end of october.âÂ
she gives another pause. âso where can you find more information about this show? well, itâs easy. just be sure to follow our official vlive, youtube and instagram! thatâs where you can get updates about the show and learn more about the contestants.â harin nods once to her words, still keeping the sweet smile on her face. âplease look forward to seeing us in legacy project: future dreams! we have so much to show you guys, so stay tuned!â she ends the promotional video by sending flying kisses to the viewers, finally letting out a sigh of relief when the staff tells her itâs done. itâs hard to come up with what to say --- she prefers to have a script prepared but they tell her sheâs free to say anything, which is hard, because harin has no idea what she should be saying.
her laptop was placed on the desk that she shared with her roommate and the popcorn was placed on the bedside table. she motioned harin to sit on the bed as she sat on the chair placed beside the desk so she could prepare the movie. âso, what are we feeling?â she asked, already scrolling through netflix.
even if harin has been training for four years at the company now, itâs still hard to get used to the long exhausting days, especially since she decided to participate in the future dreams project. although she no longer has morning practice, it feels no different from her regular schedule, except the fact that sheâs being filmed almost all the time sheâs at the company.Â
it doesnât bother her of course, but knowing sheâs ranked pretty low in the show, she knows she needs even more extra hours of practice. she really wants to win, so thereâs no room to play around at this moment, although she does appreciate spending some free time with her friends once sheâs done practicing. today she has promised miyeon they would watch movies together at her dorm --- she arrives a little late, but thereâs a big smile on her lips as soon as she sees miyeon, returning the hug first and foremost. after all itâs been a while since she last hung out with the other girl like this. âi told you iâll come, didnât i?â she asks in a playful tone, letting out a soft chuckle before nodding at the older girl. âooh, popcorn. now thatâs exciting!âÂ
stepping inside the room, she follows miyeon until sheâs motioned to sit on the bed, and she does as sheâs told. âhonestly, i donât mind anything.â she really doesnât. all she wants is to hang out with miyeon, so they could just watch whatever movie they could find. âwhat about something scary? itâs almost halloween anyways,â she suggests, this time lying down on her stomach as she looks at miyeon with a playful smirk. âor are you afraid you might not be able to sleep later, hm?â harin isnât the type to easily get scared, so horror movies have no to the least impact on her. âi donât keep up with movies that much, so i have no idea whatâs popular nowadays.â maybe theyâll find something interesting enough to watch if they keep on looking.
âItâs still so cool how we got to be on stage though, right? It was hard to see how everyone else was doing, but I thought you did really great! Everyone did well⊠I really thought I was gonna fall off the stage at the end, like⊠there were so many people! Donât you think?â
people donât usually approach harin unless itâs needed. she learns that thereâs a lot of reasons why people tend to stay away from her. sheâs been told many times that she appears to be intimidating to some, perks of having a resting bitch face. sheâs never been the one to start conversation --- people sometimes mistake her for being shy or anxious, but truth to be told she just doesnât want to make an effort. most of the time sheâll let people talk first, although that wouldnât mean sheâs willing to listen. sheâs neither a good talker or listener, so itâs easy to see why the other trainees refuse to befriend harin. after all sheâs very picky when it comes to people she chooses to hang out with, which makes her seem like a stuck-up rich brat.Â
itâs not wrong though. thatâs how her mother raised her to be --- itâs a dog-eat-dog world, there is no such thing as real friendship. she sticks by her words until now, albeit realizing that she could actually find real friends here. sheâs still a little worried of course. it doesnât make her stop wondering if they are only befriending her because of something that she has, since she has dealt with that shit a lot previously. it makes her cautious, but she hopes sheâs wrong.Â
as a senior trainee in legacy, it would be a lie to say she never thought of being a role model for the juniors. sheâs aware that sheâs not the best in her training group. itâs something she still hasnât been able to accept until now, to learn that some of the girls in her group is way more talented that she would ever be, although she works just as hard or even harder. but that doesnât mean the juniors couldnât like her. she knows sheâs pretty, she knows she has good sense in fashion. in terms of appearance alone, harin thinks sheâs above everyone else. she can sing, albeit just on the average level, and she can actually dance too. she doesnât see a reason for the juniors to dislike her, unless they have a bad encounter with her, thatâs it.Â
she can tell hana is one of those juniors, at least judging from how excited she gets whenever she talks to her. usually sheâll get annoyed by the younger girl trying to catch her attention, but this time she decides sheâll listen to whatever hana has got to say. she loves the compliments hana tells her, so she smiles and runs slim fingers through her long black hair. âyou really think so? i thought nobodyâs going to see me. it was too crowded on stage anyways,â she says. âweâre lucky we didnât fall off the stage... imagine the embarrassment. i wonât be able to face anyone for the whole month.â perhaps itâs a bit exaggerated, but thatâs exactly what harin would do if that ever happens to her. she canât even imagine what she would feel about it.
< HELL WEEK: THURSDAY >
in which harin tries to style @lgcpeter for the halloween party.
thanks to the goddamn cream cannon, harin is so going to be grumpy for the rest of the day. it sucks because today is supposed to be the good day, if not the best in the whole week. sheâs actually pretty excited to dress up for the halloween party later, but the only thing she could think of right now is how humiliating she must have looked like when her face got hit by the cream and she would rather not talk about it ever again. as if things couldnât get any worse in here, now sheâs staring at peter with her eyes widened upon finding out that heâs going to the party with a mask on his hoodie... which is neither pleasant or spooky enough to her liking. itâs none of her business, but she figures she would help peter this time instead of just whining.Â
itâs a shame that peter doesnât have any idea how attractive he could be if he ever makes any effort to look good. sheâll never tell him that. at least not know, but sheâll let him know that his costume is not exactly a costume, and he needs a better one right now. even if he thinks itâs unnecessary, harin is somehow determined to make the man look a little more presentable.Â
âno, no, no. you canât be seen like this,â she says. âthis just looks like what you normally wear, oppa. are you sure you want to wear this to the halloween party?â harin isnât easily bothered by what people choose to wear --- she does, but then she only judges them for it and thatâs it. she wonât try to make them look better, feels like itâs not worth it. but right now itâs different, as sheâs already thinking of different ideas for peterâs new costume in her head. âwhat about a vampire? a cowboy? the devil perhaps? something that is more halloween, you know.â she nods before adding, âwait, i know! you can be eggsy from the kingsman. thatâll be cute. or captain malcolm reynolds from the firefly series. heâs pretty hot, if you prefer that kind of look.â
< LEGACY HALLOWEEN PARTY >
in which harin stumbles upon @lgcjin and sheâs upset and drunk.Â
harin actually loves halloween parties, but maybe not tonight.Â
she just feels shitty the whole time sheâs in here. the party is not that bad, but her mood hasnât been better since that stupid cream cannon prank, so now sheâs all grumpy. the only reason why she still chooses to come is because 1) she canât have her day ruined by that prank; 2) she promises yejin they are coming together as black and white swan, so she doesnât want to ruin their plan by ditching on the party; 3) she canât let anyone else enjoy the party without her being there to make it better or worse for them. it seems like sheâs opting for the latter, given that sheâs not having a good time herself. at least not when harin is away from her two best friends, so now all she does is drink and drink until it feels right to be here tonight.
however the good feeling is temporary, and while she knows itâs totally inappropriate to get her ass drunk at this kind of event, she just canât help but to keep drinking as she wanders around the room. this time she comes across a male trainee, a face sheâs definitely seen before, but somehow she couldnât put a name to it. not that it matters anyways. âhey,â she calls out, her tone a tad bit demanding. âdo i look drunk to you?â she wants to hear no, but of course sheâll let him choose what to say first. she knows itâs a concern for most people, considering that there are also press and staffs all around here, and as a legacy trainee participating in the future dreams project, harin is expected to maintain a good behavior in front of these people.
oof sheâs pretty good at dancing and her expressions are on point too!!
thatâs all she could do? i guess legacy only takes her because sheâs pretty lmao
she looks petite, cute but also hot?! her body is goals and her face is just my type TT i hope to see this unnie a lot during the show!
she looks like sheâll smile in your face but talk shit behind your backâŠ.
legacy seems to have stacked themselves in dancers. they have all been pretty impressive and sheâs no exception! i hope her vocals are on par with that though~
