idk i just wanna sit in a dark library at night in the candlelight wearing an oversized sweater and exchange glances over my book to my lover while the rain pours outside and feel at peace with the world
I still can’t get over the fact that they didn’t use this line in Regret Me.
my personality constantly switches between a pretentious literature professor and a wise illiterate idiot, there is no in between.
It's always: "wanna hang out" but never "hey let's create a secret society and read literature and poetry"
Sir please that's my emotional support stack of books that i haven't read
I hate The Secret History but it’s simultaneously one of my favorite books...

Rest In Peace, Betty White (January 17, 1922 - December 31st, 2021).
Thank you for the laughs.
y’all ever read a book that’s so good it pretty much takes over you for the rest of the day? like, yeah, i’m walking around, doing what i’m supposed to do, but my mind’s still stuck on that one line that absolutely punched me in the gut when i first saw it. my heart’s still thumping somewhere in-between those pages.
Kafka’s diaries are a whole mood.
Wouldn’t be amazing if you could see all of your female ancestors at like age 25? All at once? Like you walk into a room and they’ll all in order there and you could talk with them all and see the story of your lineage? What were they doing at my age? What did they all look like? Would they be proud of me?
i am a simple girl i seek academic validation and get absolutely destroyed when i don’t receive it
"My child is fine"
Your child is remaking a doomed movie from thirty years ago in which the set burned down and the lead actress died in a fire.
Tumblr is not a social media site, it is a mid-20s crisis center at this point
When Morticia Addams said, "Life’s not all lovely thorns and singing vultures, you know," and, "Hearts are wild creatures, that’s why our ribs are cages."
