Brian Banks spent 5 years in jail and had to register as a sex offender after a high school girlfriend accused him of rape so her parents wouldn’t know she’d had sex. She also sued the school district and won $1.5 million. Years later, she agreed to meet with Banks, he secretly filmed the conversation, she admitted it was all a lie, his conviction was overturned, and the district sued her back for $2.6 million.
