#plum pie
Bake a pie shell first. Marinate sliced plums with sugar. Beat up your fresh creme filling. Smear some berry's currant jam on the shell and fill it with the filling. Gently put the plums on top and voila, it's ready to be served.
# what I like, what I can't control, what I can, and what I should.
There are things that we do to impress someone. In case of mine, I always try to keep my room straightened up as much as I can to be seen as organized and tidy. When I invite someone over to my place for a dinner, I calculate the meal literally from the scatch: a sort of drinks, serving dishes and cups, appetizer, mains, and desserts. I occasionally spend hours choosing the 'right' outfit.
These certainly bugs me time to time, but they're the ways I enjoy my life: they give me the pleasure of serving others and seeing them enjoyt the time with me, help me be more confident when meeting with and talking to people, and make myself prepared to go anywhere with decent figure. Just by carefully examining what we do for impression management, we could find out the things that we think are important.
Things that one considers essential may mean nothing to others. For a kind of person like me whom others think of as a perfectionist, making something organized is one of the main slogan for my life-style. It could be somewhat like walking along the border-line. If you stick to it, everything goes just fine, but once you or anything deviates from it, you suddenly feel an inexorable surge of repressed desire go wild and escape from the stubborn self-regulation. When getting out of my hand, it gets really hard to come back to the line.
I've come to realize that there's no way I can make things under my control There's no way I can see what's going to happen tomorrow or how things turn out an hour later. I just have to improvise according to the given situation, and take a shoody plan E as an option. While coping and dealing with all these unpredictable events, I often find all my plans gone awry and myself being not watched.
Despite all these unwanted consequences, the reason I could keep my identity is because I know who I want to be, what I like, and where I should be. So just do what you have to do, what you want to do, and in the way you want things to be handle; just keep reminding of yourself that there're the guideline that you should follow intransigently and the path your feet shall be heading towards.
