ELBOW + KNEE BRIGHTENING
(how to get rid of dark elbows/knees !✨)
before i get into the routine, i want to state a couple reasons as to why your elbows/knees might be dark !
1. layers of dead skin
2. sun exposure
3. hyperpigmentation
4. skin friction
5. dry skin
EXFOLIATE
exfoliate 2-3 times a week to help brighten the skin, get rid of dead skin cells and produce a more even and smoother skin tone.
MOISTURIZE & HYDRATE
dry skin and skin friction will cause hyperpigmentation and lead to dark skin patches on your elbows and knees. so, remember to keep your elbows and knees moisturised daily, especially after your exfoliate!
BE GENTLE WITH YOUR ELBOWS AND KNEES !
try to reduce friction on your elbows and knees by putting less pressure on them, for example, when kneeling or leaning on your elbows as this can darken the skin. reduce friction, rubbing, or injury to the areas that are darkening, and treat them nicely and gently.

🧖🏽♀️ simply squeeze some fresh lime juice and massage it gently on the affected area. leave it on for 10 mins and wash it off with lukewarm water. practicing this frequently will result in visibly lighter skin in a couple of weeks.

HOW TO GET PAST INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS - LAW OF ASSUMPTION
there are 2 main solutions to this. you can either a) go on a mental diet, or b) assume none of your negative thoughts manifest.
MENTAL DIET.
a mental diet is a way of monitoring your thoughts, focusing on good thoughts and contradicting the bad ones.
think about it like this: we have two kind of thoughts. beneficial and unbeneficial thoughts. the beneficial thought is the thought that is beneficial to us, the one that we are fond of. the unbeneficial thought is the one that does not benefit us in anyway. when you are given a thought, think to yourself: “is this a beneficial thought?” if yes, keep thinking it! if you no, ignore it, contradict it and do not let it spiral!
for example, let’s say im manifesting clear skin, and i get a thought like “gosh, my skin looks terrible!” IMMEDIATELY contradict that thought and be like “no, actually, my skin looks amazing! i have amazing, flawless skin!”
being on a strict mental diet means not taking no for an answer. it is believing that the only reality that exists for you is your desired one. it is persisting in no matter what the 3d shows you, no matter how pessimistic you are about your current situation, and contradicting your negative thoughts. i won’t lie to you, mental diets require effort & discipline. how strict your mental diet is up to you. the stricter your mental diet, the less unbeneficial thoughts. some people tend not to be so hard on themselves at the beginning, and that is totally fine. i think that if you can handle having a few contradicting thoughts here and there without it ruining your day, then go ahead and be lenient with your mental diet. or if you can’t handle always controlling your thoughts, you’re allowed to not be strict with yourself. It’s okay. get back on track when you feel better, and always remember that you create your reality.
eventually, you will not need to contradict those negative thoughts, as those positive thoughts will appear natural to you, and your affirmations wil go on auto-pilot.
ASSUME.
now, if you’re having a hard time doing a mental diet, that is completely fine. just hold the assumption that none of your negative thoughts manifest, and they wont.
YOUR THOUGHTS ARE NOT YOU.
let that negative thought pass, it cannot affect you unless you allow it. you can still scream, cry, shout, and still get your manifestation, as long as you hold the assumption that nothing separates you from you and your desire!

I learned what my Dosha is and started eating accordingly
I have a skincare routine that works for me
I sleep on silk pillows and wash them once a week
I exercise every day. I used to go to the gym but I now I take long walks (at least an hour but usually 90 minutes) and supplement with pilates or yoga. I also play golf and tennis with family whenever I'm home. Just putting that out there to show that exercise doesn't have to be super rigorous.

I wear jewelry that compliments my skin tone
I learned how to layer scents properly so that I always smell good
