Also, and I’ve had this argument with the actual Ship of Theseus thought experiment, if it still functions as a boat and Theseus lays claim to it, it sure fucking is the Ship of Theseus. It doesn’t stop being so until Theseus no longer claims it or it doesn’t function as a ship.

Bodies don’t become less yours or even less body just because you’ve added to, implemented, or augmented them. Do they still function as a body? Are you still using it and claiming it as your own? Adding a cannon to your ship doesn’t make it less of a ship. Adding one to a body, weirdly, has the same end result.
