They're all "It's us against the world" and then Ladybug suddenly rawwrrr's at him and they kiss and get married and have creepy voodoo doll babies and then they're being stupid silly kids who handle their fights with the emotional competence of the teenagers that they are. And they're so cringe. Chat Noir takes her hand and Ladybug notices and he doesn't let go, NO. He puts it back, so careful that her hand doesn't drop and then he says the most awkward "alriiight" that I've ever heard and gives her fingerguns. And Marinette calls Adrien hot stuff and baby and you can't believe that those nicknames just left her mouth. And he plays with dolls to act out a scene in which she acts like his worst nightmare, the combination of childlike innocence and heartbroken romantic and it hits so hard. And she needs him and she loves him and she thought he was a playboy when they met and now she takes one look at him and crumbles because she's never met anyone who can look this deeply into her soul and stay. And he's never met anyone who is so accepting of who he is. And he screams "buggaBOO" like it's the funniest joke (it is) and complains about her complaining about his puns but whenever she makes puns herself he argues that they're lame and she's having so much fun, seeing his reactions. And they kiss at the airport and get physically torn away from one another and they cataclysm walls to get to each other and Ladybug so desperately wants him that she awakens the spirit of a war hero to ask her about boy problems and defends him when she calls him scrawny. And he sings her songs and he models her clothes and she has his next 50 birthday presents ready and she keeps secrets from him that could destroy reality and he thinks she considers him replacable. And there is no one in the world more important to them and they know their hearts deepest desire is to get married and still pretend not to be in love because nothing is their own choice and it should be. And they're just fourteen and make each other feel a little more at home.

I also made chocoau! Felix more like, middle class compared to Adrien, like he’s not crazy rich but I imagine his parents are maybe real-estate agents in the more rich side of London so he’s pretty well-funded. He also has a cockney accent 😼

You know I kinda miss the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous being concepts of luck rather than Creation and Destruction. I like them being Creation and Destruction but would have loved to see what the show was like if they followed their luck concepts rather than Creation and Destruction.

Imagine if Marinette was clumsy and failed to confess to Adrien every time because her curse is that she has bad luck while she’s Marinette but extremely good luck when she’s Ladybug. Same for Adrien, he has good luck as Adrien but really bad luck when he’s Chat Noir. Imagine how cool it would have been to see the show if the kwamis were based on luck concepts, and how they affected Mari and Adrien.

i might add this to my AU but just wanted to ramble about it before going to bed :)

canon felix & marinette is sooooo funny. like for all intents and purposes, their arc is finished. they settled on terms and conditions. he's on her team and they fuck around in adrien's pool sometimes.

but felix literally can't escape her. the two people he holds dearest absolutely love her in every sense. both have shed actual tears over her, for her.

he goes to see kagami? she's been on the phone with marinette for an hour now and Marinette's spiel or rant or raving isn't ending any time soon, but kagami can't bring herself to hang up even if she's doing other things. another time, and marinette is hanging off kagami's back, she's dragging her by her hand, dressing her up, she's all over kagami.

adrien? goner. it's absolutely ridiculous. (felix likes to think he isn't this way with kagami but it's not exactly true at all). and of course, marinette's there: in the house, the pool, the carpool, the fucking bathroom when he needs to use it. felix has the mechanical sound of her vespa mesmerized as it pulls into the courtyard driveway. she spends the night at the mansion and she's an absolute nightmare when she's woken up early, which both he and adrien are getting used to.

she's there when she's not there, for the both of them. oh, marinette said the FUNNIEST thing the other day--well, it actually didn't make a lot of sense, but listen--oh, did you get a tear in your vest? marinette could fix that for you! here, have this extra pastry marinette gave me.

she's there when she's there, obviously. obnoxiously. of course they grab tea together, marinette wants to learn what it means to be in the "accidentally fucking things up with adrien when you only had his best interest in mind" club.

she's there at work, when he's needed. unlike how she is with kagami, or adrien, or himself---it's endearing, like a puzzle he's still fitting together. ladybug, marinette, something close to a found family, both of them taking each other into their worlds.

I've had this little idea in my head for a while now, so I decided to sit down and plot it out.

Disclaimer: This isn't meant to be some sort of One-Worksheet-Fits-All situation. This is meant to be a visual representation of some type of story planning you could be doing in order to develop a plot!

Lay down groundwork! (Backstory integral to the beginning of your story.) Build hinges. (Events that hinge on other events and fall down like dominoes) Suspend structures. (Withhold just enough information to make the reader curious, and keep them guessing.)

“Oh, my god,” he murmured, doing as she said. His touch was barely there, so hesitant and light that she could hardly feel him. Her shirt rode up to show part of her stomach, so his hands made contact with her bare skin. “I—”

She leaned in so their noses were touching. “Shut up.”

He was still wide-eyed.

She tugged his hair a little.

Adrien let out a moan.

“What the fuck,” she said.

“What do you want from me?” he replied, visibly flustered. “You're hot and you're—you're in my face!”

“If you get a boner—”

“Maybe don't pull my hair!” he exclaimed.

Marinette glared at him.

“Don't look at me,” he all but begged. “I'm touching you and you're so close. I'm losing my fucking mind already.”

“You are pathetic,” she told him.

Adrien squirmed beneath her. “Stop talking dirty to me.”

“I'm insulting you.”

“Jokes on you, I'm into that,” he replied without skipping a beat. “Isn't your plan not to turn me on? You're doing a terrible job.”
