Alright yall... Please heed the title. But here's what I got for you:

In one of the group chats I’m in, a girl said she used to be one of H’s oomfs on his private account before he deleted it. She said he had three highlights: one for random stuff like books, recommendations, Gizmo, etc.; one for K with a little heart; and a third one for Connor. According to her, some of the pictures under C’s highlight were: the two of them on a couch in LA, hugging; one where they were dressed for the VF after-party; and one from the Met where Connor was kissing him on the cheek. For K’s highlight, she said it included the ones we already saw in V’s story, plus the CSA attendance picture. Before he deleted the account, he apparently removed C’s highlight first, then K’s highlight. After that, he removed followers and then re-uploaded both highlights, but K’s was re-uploaded without the heart. Around that time, he had allegedly already unfollowed both of K’s accounts.

Well, this person told me that on the private account Hudson deactivated, there was a highlight called “Connor 💛.” There wasn’t one for K unless he had already removed it.

Now. With how weirdly H was moving on IG before the deactivation... is this possible? Is it likely? I really don't know. I leave it to your discretion!

& connor goes and cries on a park bench because he really thought somehow his soulbond with hudson would transcend space & time & memory & he’d at least have hudson even if he didn’t have anything else . & when he wakes up the next morning in his own bed to his own ceiling & not the cheap motel he’d fallen asleep in last night, he experiences such a pure & profound relief at being back in a world where hudson knows & loves him, he immediately sets out on chase filled w rom-com obstacles & hijinks that ultimately ends four hours later with him making out with hudson in the bathroom closest to the baggage claim in vancouver international airport <3 YAY

They move in together full time and Ilya notices that Anya acts differently with Shane than she does with him, more quiet and less playful, and he worries that means she doesn’t like Shane or is jealous, so he hires a dog trainer to come over and see if there’s anything they need to do to help

After a while of talking about how Anya acts the trainer says there’s nothing to worry about, Anya likes Shane just fine, it’s just that she sees him as the boss and is acting accordingly

And Ilya is like. But. I’m the one who adopted her? And raised her before Shane got here?? And the trainer is just like yeah well she sees you more like an equal. And Ilya is like WAIT she thinks Shane is in charge of both of us?? And the trainer is just like well do you interact in a way that would make her think that?

Ilya’s life flashes before his eyes as he thinks of all the times Shane has come over with a snack for Ilya and a treat for Anya, or all the times Shane has announced they’re all going for an after dinner walk, or pets Ilya’s hair and tells him he did a good job at practice, or the fact that he uses the same warning tone with Anya when she misbehaves as he does with Ilya when he’s causing problems on purpose

Shane comes home to Ilya with his face in his hands going oh god I’m not Anya’s dad I’m her brother and she thinks we’re both your pets. And Shane just goes. What.

What's strange to me is that the song and the book really have nothing to do with each other. In fact, they're kinda opposite in themes... which brings me back to the actual lyrics in the snippet:

On this harvest moon

Based on what we know about the book and its themes, to me this reads more as the protagonist musing about his lost love, not about his loveless marriage partner.

The song could also very possibly be just something melodically reminiscent to the book for H.. because if we take his IG song choices (too) seriously, there are many more instances pointing towards one direction and not the other actually imo 🤷🏼‍♀️
