i think a lot of people struggle to understand how ABDL/DDLG can be non sexual when it is considered a kink, and i think i finally thought of a good analogy to explain it:

• kissing can be sexual when you’re making out, but it can also be nonsexual when it’s a quick kiss on the forehead.

• being naked can be sexual when you’re engaging in foreplay, but it can also be nonsexual if you and your partner are both just overstimulated and don’t want clothes on.

• cuddling can be sexual when your partner has a hard-on or is groping you, but it can also be nonsexual when they are lovingly spooning you and wrapped around you.

• sitting in your partners lap can be sexual when you’re both naked and horny, but it can also be nonsexual when there’s really nowhere else to sit down.

DDLG/ABDL/really any other kink community is the exact same way. whatever the “item” is, be it a diaper, a pacifier, a collar, a position, a dynamic, a rule, etc., it can have both sexual and nonsexual characteristics.

don’t let people make you feel weird for enjoying watching my little pony while drinking from a sippy cup completely innocently one hour, while also enjoying the humiliation of being forced into a diaper the next hour. both things can exist, and i’m tired of people pretending they can’t!!
