scars in fiction: I got this trying to save my lover from an assassin- but tragically, I was too late. now I carry the mark of my failure with me always, and I can never forget~
scars in real life:Â so I was trying to open macaroni sauce with a paring knife
Tell me how you got your scars in the tags
Why do people need subtitles to watch a show in English? I don't get it. What is wrong with the ears of young people?
Modern movies and shows tend to have very unbalanced mixing. Also, a common trend in modern movies is more realistic dialogue (mumbling) that is not as crisp as it was in previous eras of film making.
Iâm eating corn chips and they be crunchy and loud as hell and also Iâm half deaf I think
Now that Eurovision is over, I want you all, especially the Americans, to take a good hard look at how the voting results turned out when people boycotted the event.
In the UK, the viewing figures were down about 2 million people compared to last year. 2 million people made the conscious decision to not watch and not vote because of Israel's inclusion.
The final results of the public vote, Israel came in first place in the UK and got 12 points. Because the only people watching and voting were people who backed Israel or at least didnât care one way or another.
This doesn't matter. It's a music contest. The boycott was still the right thing to do because it is just a show at the end of the day, and the viewing figures have more impact than the results.
But it is also a good object lesson to show you what happens if you boycott a vote over something that does matter. Choosing not to vote in, let's say, a presidential election will have similar results.

Does anyone else ever feel like theyâve lost literally all motivation and all you want to do is curl up in a ball in bed and eat junk and watch films and avoid all other responsibilities for like 37 years or so
$50,000 immediately dropped into my bank account wouldn't improve EVERYTHING but boy it sure would be a grand, sexy little start to a good, happy life path, don't you think

Reblog for time travelling $$$ dropping into your Bank account.
so you dated the wrong person and learned a hard lesson. you chose the wrong major and had to start over again. you cherished a friend who backstabbed you. it sucks, but itâs also going to work out. thatâs life; you learn, hurt, love, cry, laugh, and keep going. you experience setbacks and you grow and itâs all okay.

must a fictional relationship be âhealthyâ or âfunctionalâ? is it not enough to simply watch two made up people destroy each other, hand in unlovable hand???
hey what the fuck is wrong with you people
idk, what is wrong with me? iâm in a healthy and stable relationship with a great partner, iâve had lots of therapy that has helped me establish strong boundaries and recognize red flags, and i have an active social life and fulfilling career. could it be that i just⊠like to read books and watch movies and tv shows about dysfunctional people??? you tell me, tumblr user girlcreator!
Youâre a bourgeois degenerate who wants to see shitty despicable & violent relationships for your disgusting sense of entertainmentâ and you should feel fucking ashamed of yourself.
I agree with @girlcreator but I definitely know thereâs something wrong with you. People like you are a huge red flag to me. Bad vibes, for sure.

âEmile Corsiâ is not real. anything claiming to be done by an artist named Emile Corsi is ai generated art, it does not exist. whatâs worse is that the person behind this âartistâ, these âartworksâ is that they are falsifying the historical record. these images are not from the 1800s; they were not generated until just a few weeks ago⊠this is intentional misinformation folks
hereâs an article that talks about it and gives some tips on how to identify ai, beyond the memberâs only wall it goes on to tell us that research is the biggest tool in pinpointing misinformation from ai art to radical claims in the news cycle. even just simply looking something up is enough to help counter misinformation
Identifying AI art should be an exercise in research skills, not finding âtells.â

Stuff kids on tumblr better relearn
1. You are responsible for your own media experience.Â
2. There is such a thing as a healthy level of avoidance towards topics that make you feel unwell or even (in a real-life clinical definition of the term) trigger you - but you are the one to actively take care of what you view.
3. Avoiding does not mean policing others.
4. You have no right to tell artists to censor themselves - you may criticize what others do, you may dislike it, thatâs fine - but actively asking for censorship when you could easily unfollow or block a person just makes you look incompetent in your use of the internet.
5. Do not give people on tumblr or /any/ website the responsibility for your emotional well-being. Because these people do not even know you so no, you have no right to ask them to take care of you.
6. Content creators are not your parents and owe you nothing, not even a breakdown on why their content isnât problematic. You donât get to demand a dissertation denouncing any and everything unhealthy in a piece you donât like. Move on.
7. Tagging is a nicety but not an obligation. You can message people, politely, and ask them to tag things, and many people will, but understand that itâs their blog and they arenât obliged to say yes. Unfollow and block when you need to. Circling back to number 1, you are responsible for curating your own experience.
8. Donât be a jerk. Remember at the end of the day, there are actual living, breathing people behind each screen name. Donât say anything you wouldnât say to someoneâs face in real life.Â
I cannot stress enough how important it is to remember this.
