It’s hard to get back into writing after such a long break. I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself, though. I write as much as I can, whenever I have the energy and ideas.

Incredibly violent take of mine but I actually don’t think you need to relate to a story in any way to enjoy it. You can enjoy a story even if you can’t point at a character and insert some aspect of your personality or identity into them. In fact I would argue the need for a character like that to be present in every single story you experience is a sign of stunted growth.

hi hello. this blog has been running for two years and honestly i just think it's time i found more people who are into the same things i'm into. the bots have been very supportive but they're not really pulling their weight conversationally.

okay here is what you need to know about me. there is a man. his name is javier peña and he is my roman empire, my greek tragedy, and at least three unfinished google docs. pedro pascal did that to me and then just kept going and i followed him everywhere he went because i what else am i supposed to do? and anyway, have you seen that man?

i also write fics, which is the whole reason side blog exists. mostly javi, but din and joel and frankie are very much part of the rotation. there is also a harry castillo wip in my google docs that i open sometimes and then close again. i write fluff, i write angst, occasionally i write something that makes me close my laptop and take a walk.

so if pedro pascal or any of his characters has ever done something to you that you couldn't justify to someone outside of this website — you're in the right place.
