Lemme know if you wanna rp? Me and Jessica have been going on/off rping Au’s on different accounts, but it you want, we could totally work out the same system!
All That You Made of Me
Severus looked down at her, well aware that it looked like a sneer even though nothing of his emotions was shown on his face. “Trophies deserve special cases,” he said, allowing some of his anger to seep into his tone. “And other friends are always willing to…fill in the gaps when one leaves.” There. That was scathing enough without being direct.
“And how is your family taking your new-found bliss? I’m sure Tuney was as ecstatic as she ever is.” He smiled, thinly, no joy or happiness in the expression. Let her get mad at him for bringing up childhood jealousies and nicknames. Hatred and anger was better than nothing at all when it came from her.
Her eyes widened at his comment. Was he honestly insinuated James wanted to move in with her as a show?! Was she honestly buying it? Lily clenched her jaw and stood as tall as she could to try and reach his height (it was hopeless, Lily was just so short) as she reminded herself not to show he got to her. “Friends like death eaters. Friends that murder. Tell me,Severus, how many have you killed so far?”
Once he mentioned Tuney, Lily swore she saw spots. What did he want? Was he going to hurt her family? Her hand snaked around to her hair where her wand was holding up a messy bun. “Don’t you ever mention her again. Don’t you ever think about her, let alone come near her. Get out of here before I call for help. In case you’ve forgotten, my father is the police chief and I have some helpful connections in the ministry.”
Double Trouble
Marlene mentally punched herself for not thinking about ehr best friend’s family - she had not problem with that. “ My parents wouldn’t visit anyway, so sure! We could rent an apartment somewhere in the muggle world. Somewhere quiet though? The muggle center of the city always confuses me.”
And they were right back on track. Lily beamed, taking Marlene’s hand. “I absolutely do not want to live in a big city. It’d be so noisy and busy all the time! What if we looked on the outskirts of London? That way we’d be close to the city but not in it. And James’s family lives there and having that safety net would be nice.”
Making History
The kids nodded. Marie was fixing her blonde locks into an elegant updo, while Harry was looking for his belt and charming his shoes shiny.
James smiled faintly to his wife. Her expression said it all to him; after so many years together, it was obvious to him that she was worried. He grabbed her by the elbow lightly, leading her to the door. “What’re you so worried about? Everyone already loves you. You just need to be yourself, that’s what got you elected.” His wife had won by a landslide, and it was obvious that the English witches and wizards were very happy with her as Minister.
He glanced down at her, tilting his head. “C’mon, Lil, relax. You’re going to be fine. You look beautiful…”
James must’ve seen her expression because he quickly pulled her to the side to fix it. Of course, telling her she had nothing to worry about didn’t help when she knew just how significant this ball was. As minister, she wasn’t allowed screw ups. She just wasn’t. A bad party would be translated by that Skeeter lady as “the beginning of a downward spiral.”
Still, she took a deep breath, if for James’s sake. “Every year, the party’s all fancy and over-the-top and...we haven’t had a party like that since our wedding. And our mums planned that.” Lily bit her lip, looking up at him. “What if I just hid in the kid’s room the entire time? Could I do that?” The would be less pressure. All you had to do to entertain children was tell silly stories. At him shaking his head, she just let out a sigh.
“Will you help me be all proper and posh?”
All That You Made of Me
Well, that was…rather more than he had wanted to know. Why he didn’t just leave, he didn’t really know, but he couldn’t make himself do so. Seeing Lily was worth it. Even if she did know exactly what weak spots to hit to make him really feel like shite.
“How domestic,” he said, his face carefully blank. He started to pull his Occlumency shields up, sinking his thoughts into calm water and slowly, methodically, freezing the emotions they held. It wasn’t worth letting himself get angry–he could do that later, when she wasn’t around, looking so alive. Perhaps he’d pick another fight with his father.
“Some people do,” he conceded. “And yet Potter seems as obsessed as ever. Tell me, does he truly love you, or is it just the bliss of victory that keeps him close?” That had been a part of discussions they had had, before he’d made that mistake–did Potter even see her, or just see someone who didn’t bow to his whims? And now here she was, flaunting possible matrimony to the man. It made Severus want to hit something.

Lily remember that conversation quite vividly. She’d been having a rough day and when James tried to speak with her, making flirty remarks here and there, she flipped. Back then, Severus was her go-to-man. Oh how the times had changed. Still, a spot back in her mind gave his question validity. Afterall, James was a rich, attractive, pureblood man. He could have anyone he wanted. Why would he want her?
She gulped back the fear, reminding herself that James loved her. She didn’t need to worry about his real intentions. It was Severus she should worry about. Crossing her arms, she lurked closer.
“James loves me. If he just wanted me as a trophy, he wouldn’t move out of his apartment with his friends for me.” Lily narrowed her eyes. “Or is that all people are to you? Trophies and pawns to be used at your whim?” Her head tilted to the side. “Too bad I saw through your little game. Looks like you could really use a friend right now.”
Making History
Lily had only been minister for two months, but she was already being revered as one of the best ministers since the 1800′s. Her first week into office, she passed an education bill that made it mandatory for all students to have muggle studies their first three years of school. A month later, she got 3,000 signatures on her petition to review the Wizengamot for corruption. Of course, she had opposition, but Lily wouldn’t let it bother her. She had to make the world better for her children.
Tonight was the Annual Ministry Christmas Ball. Traditionally held in the minister’s house. Not their personal home, that is, the house provided by the magical government for the minister and their family to live during their term. Lily, however, disliked the huge estate and when she could stayed in Godric’s Hollow. Unfortunately, the ball had to be held somewhere and Lily wasn’t about to open her house to the entire magical government.
Pinning her hair in place, she spun around to check on James, Harry, and Marie. “Are you all ready? Are your bags packed for staying over? Anyone need help tucking in shirts or curling hair?”
She was so anxious. Despite her victories in the position, Lily wanted to impress the rest of the ministry. If she couldn’t host a proper ball, how could she run a country?
Quick note: I’ll be going to the beach which means no wifi. I’ll be back Sunday night. <33
All That You Made of Me
Severus took a step back at the venom in her voice. He hadn’t really expected her to notice him. He was a house down and leaning against a streetlamp, probably looking very suspicious.
“Believe it or not, Evans, I live in this town as well,” he drawled, unable to make himself angry. Sure, he lived in this town, but decidedly on the wrong side of town. Not like this happy little suburb.
“Finally moving in with Potter, eh?” He was speaking without really thinking about it, suddenly unable to be silent around her. “I’m sure your flat will be an excellent recreation of the Gryffindor common room. Are the other miscreants sharing with you?”
Well, that was brilliant. He should write a book. “How to Make Sure People Stay Mad at You: An Autobiography.” Several years ago she would recognize the teasing. Several years ago it would have been him she had plans to move in with. He still had that childhood drawing of the flat they were going to have somewhere. Not that he would admit it, of course.
“This town,” Lily shot back, not missing a beat. “Not this street, not this suburb, not this neighborhood. You’re a good many blocks down and there’s no reason you should be here. Unless you’re doing some spy work for your beloved dictator.” As she said this, she made to readjust her messy updo where her wand was holding it all together. The message was clear.
His mannerisms told her he didn’t really expect to be in this situation, but that made no sense. If he had come here when James were here, he should have expected much worse. Of course he knew that, so he had to take a low-blow at her boyfriend.
“Actually, I am, yeah. Turns out some people can mature. I think he might propose to me sometime soon. Maybe even tonight once we’re all moved in.” The smirk that spread across her face was not voluntary, but there was something so sweet about the dumbstruck look on Snape’s face. It served him right. Once upon a time, he promised blood meant nothing and now here he was, likely with a tattoo vowing to take down his inferiors.
Not that Lily was only with James for revenge on Severus, she genuinely loved him. Revenge was only an added bonus.
“And for your knowledge, the only people in our flat that we will be decorating in muted pastels, will be us and our kitten. You see, Severus, when people grow up, they tend to move on from their schoolyard fixations.”
Double Trouble
Her face went bright red, beyond pleased Marlene was all in. “Perfect! Now we just have to find the right one!”
And just like that, her mind was on the next thing. “We want a flat in a nice neighborhood, but within walking distance to the places we want to be at. Obviously accepts pets.” Lily hesitated. “A magical community?”
“ Hm, what about the Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade?” the blonde suggested as she let her eyes travel around the ceiling. “ I reckon there must be an apartment for sale and..we make less than a minute into muggle world and all that….” she said, apping a finger on her knee as she thought about it.
Lily pursed her lips. She wanted to live in a muggle neighborhood, though. “Hey...Marls?” How did she phrase this without sounding annoying. “It’s just...if I ever want my sister or parents to visit us...” She looked down. Sure, her parents would visit her if she lived in a magical town, but they’d feel so out of place. And her sister would take bribing to even talk to her.
All That You Made of Me
It was cold for August but that didn’t stop him from being outside. Anywhere was better than inside, just waiting for his father to come home. Even the little muggle town he had grown up in. It would be weeks yet before the second round of owls came bearing acceptance or denial from the variety of apprenticeships and jobs he had applied for and it was hard to sit and wait in that house, empty of his mother and wondering when his father would be back.
Which is how he found himself wandering around dressed in horribly ratty muggle clothing. Grumbling, he didn’t bother paying attention to where he was headed, his thoughts preoccupied. Eventually, though, he found himself on a familiar stretch of road–Lily’s road, where her family lived.
Looking up from the ground he found her house, observing what was obviously a lot of work going on. A moving truck was out front, the back partially loaded. Was Petunia finally going to school, or had she married that horrible man? Vernon, his name was. Or something equally repulsive. Watching for a moment, he found Lily’s figure easily as she added another box to the truck.
Was Lily moving? Where would she go? With Potter? Frowning, he thought about turning around and leaving but couldn’t force himself to move. This might be the last time he saw her. The tattoo hidden by his sleeve and her own relationship with Potter saw to that. So he stood and watched, trying to pretend he felt nothing.

James had asked her to move in months ago, but between Order missions and finding the right flat to move into, they had only just started physically moving in this week. On Monday, Lily helped James pack up his stuff (thank goodness for magic!) and they moved it all out on Tuesday. Yesterday, James helped her pack up everything but he couldn’t help her move because of a mission he was sent on this morning.
Instead, Lily recruited her family to help her out. It wasn’t like she had that much to move. Most of it were books or clothing. Here and there she’d have a small piece of furniture, but James’s family riches ensured they could fully furnish their little home without breaking their backs.
As she set her box of movies in the moving van, she felt a pair of eyes boring into her. Lily whipped around to see him. Her old best friend. The man who she originally thought she’d be moving into a flat with after Hogwarts. The very same man who called her a slur in front of all their peers.
She narrowed her eyes, crossed her arms, and stormed up to him. “You’re not welcome here.”

Maybe some friend drama?
LET’S FIGHT!! What if Lily’s moving out of her parents’ house and Severus sees her and is confused and everything escalates to a fight?

“ Do continue.” The blonde pushed her best friend on continuing as her eyes flickered with excitment. “That’s maybe the most genius idea you have ever had, Lily! And we both know how many amazing ideas you’ve had through years.”
The idea sounds amazing to her, so she nodded excitedly. “I’m in. I also believe I saw some flats for sale in the Daily Prophet this morning.”

Marlene hasn’t done much this past month, she - of course - has been worrying about her little brother, but besides it…nothing intersting. Of course, school never was intersting into her opinion. Legs prompted on the Gryffindor table from the common room, head rested on the seat. Head turned around to face her best friend.
“ That sounds fun.” The blonde inquired, moving her head in order to show Lily she is intersting and she wants to hear the rest. “ What we’ll be doing? Besides charming boys here and there.”
Lily smirked, knowing how the word “trouble” was practically Marlene’s middle name. That and giggles. “Well, we could do anything, especially if we’re living together?” She propped her head up on her hands. “Do you wanna be flatmates this summer? I don’t want to deal with Tuney and I’m an adult now, so...” She shrugged. “Besides, it’d be like sleepovers all the time!”
“What do you say?”
