Does anyone have/wanna discuss theories on what happened to Cheng Xiaoshi’s parents? Cuz i would love to hear theories.

I have a few theories

a) they were caught up in some sort of crime ring unrelated to powers or cxs or the fucked timeline

b) they were caught up in a crime ring related to powers and cxs and the fucked timeline

c) someone threatened them, and it is related to the timeline and cxs and people with powers

d) they have powers and were threatened by other people with powers over something unrelated to cxs and the fucked timeline

e) they have powers and were threatened by other people with powers over something related to the fucked up timeline and cxs

I also think a combination of these is a possibility.

The presence of a threat i feel like i lean more towards on the basis that, CXS’s mother felt the need to tell QL’s parents to never let him go to Bridon. Maybe one or both of them had powers that foresaw an event.

Maybe, it’s even possible that due to a threat, she dove back in time, to give that warning. Wouldn’t that be interesting… hmmm

EXACTLYYYYY like it’s interesting that she did end up appearing to ql’s parents, since that has never been mentioned in previous seasons. With that, it must have been a complete dead end. And a dead end like that smells of diving powers.
