I'm anti AI anyway. But i see people AI'ing the weirdest shit lately

Firstly, Sam Neill. There are so many photos of this man, including around dinosaurs. Why do we need to AI it? And people act like you're being disrespectful if you give them shit about AI. But no. The disrespect is using AI of a recently deceased man

But outside of that, I've seen people AI generate images of maps, like those are hard to find. I've seen people AI edit video thumbnails of things they were doing, like, you were at that location or had that product on you? Why AI generate it? I've seen people AI generate photos or videos of animals, like, real animals where plenty of photos and videos of them exist, yet they AI generate some of them for some reason? Some of these posts i even saw them do it when preaching the need to care for and protect wildlife 🙄

There's so much more too. But given the harm everyone knows AI causes, not even just to the planet, but to humanity. Why are people AI generating the weirdest shit? Don't generate a map. Use an actual fucking photo of a map. They're really not difficult to find. Don't generate Sam Neill with dinosaurs, use one of the many stills taken from the movies. I think AI is ugly, stupid, and pointless anyway (as are its users), but why get it to generate shit you can easily find online? Or shit you literally have on you?

Just venting about another thing. I saw a guy say he is creating a short film, by making his idea of what he thought happened to the crew who were taking the dinosaurs to San Diego. But using AI for all of it. He isn't making a short film 🙄 He isn't a creator, talented, nothing. Just getting a machine to use stolen ugly shit to profit off an already existing franchise. Getting AI to generate it's best idea of what you want isn't creating anything
