Oh my god, I used to read your fics back on lunaescence. IM SO HAPPY YOU STILL EXIST???

OMG you remember me?! 🫣 I... This makes me so happy. I'm so genuinely flattered when past readers somehow remember me/ my stories. Lunaescence was such a long time ago, and my fics were so small in comparison to the stories of the more prolific authors on that site.

I don't write as much as I used to, unfortunately, but I'm always so thankful when old readers find their way back somehow. You guys really got me through some times. Maybe 2023 I'll actually finish a story. 🙃

fanfic really is. like. it really is about the community. it's about the comments. it's about the story you rip directly for your heart and bleed out on your keyboard. it's about the i loved it when you... and the i screamed when you wrote... and the keyboard smashes and the i can't believe you did that!!!! and the i'm suing you for damages like it. this is community. fanfic is literally. an act of community. the greatest act of community in fandom because it comes with such raw, overwhelming vulnerability. whether you're writing kink fic or 100k words of trauma exploration, you're just like. hi hello this is my soul please embrace it and people do. oh my gosh

Summary: Hanzo is on the run. After a bad deal with the demon Orcus he must travel to the other planes to create a bow. An ancient artifact from legends, Bow of the sun. After so much time in the outer planes, he must return to the primal plane to retrieve the Bowstring of the Sun. The only problem is the only place it’s in is the Western Heartlands. One of the greatest land masses in Farun and nearly impossible to navigate. All was hopeless until A dashing gunslinger comes to his rescue. Now adventure and life-changing dungeoneering awaits.

Additional notes: I’m spliting this fic and posting it on different days for ease of me. Chapter 1-4 will be posted April 9th while chapter 5-7 will be posted on the 10th.

I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, so I joined the most recent @mcbigbang! I was paired with the lovely @thatzsoraven for her story “Bow of the Sun”.

“Bow of the Sun” is a D&D AU, where air genasi Hanzo enlists the help of half-elf Mccree to find the fabled bow of the sun.
