There's a graphic novel where one of the characters, Graystripe, ends up as a pet. He will jump into the human's lap and get pets while thinking stuff like "Am I stuck to this hell forever?" And at one point he plays with a mouse on a string and rips it up in anger when he realizes it's a toy (and internally is apologetic to making the little kid who was playing with him upset)

All this to say that bat mouse around witb paw, sadly, will not work

Sorry I stopped paying attention after The Broken Code what's the supposed plot of the next arc gonna be? Moonpool stops working?? Cat named Moonpaw trying to fix it? And the fandom is going Moonpaw x moonpool? I'm lost

i get being frustrated with how a characters direction is going, but we all are aware of WHY Squirrelstar is suddenly super neutral? Why almost every character who isn't in the main cast is acting as if they have no common sense and aren't using any form of thinking? It's because ASC is a failure of an arc. The plot completely falls apart the second someone decides to be competent and not ignore the giant red flags in Splashtail's uprising. The arc wouldn't work with characters who can notice bullshit, so of COURSE everyone in the cast is suddenly dumber than a pile of rocks.

Like? I don't understand how this is a debate? This arc blows and unfortunately I really don't think Warriors will have another good arc. The ethics and morals of the writers clearly show they don't care abiut the abuse they've clearly written, and the "If you don't believe in StarClan you're a wretched heathen who wants the world to burn" ideaology is not a great concept for an arc guys! Maybe if the fact was proven wrong or there was some growth that came from it, but there isn't!

wtf is "intersex" and why are people shouting that certain cats (or sometimes ALL CATS??) are it???? Is this a gender thing that I'm ignorant of? Cuz that's cool I'd be happy to learn- but google says intersex relates to the actual physical body parts, and I'm just- Why do people care about this??????

Gender is one thing- affirming that shit correctly is SUPER important and I love the different hc's and interpretations there in ALL fandoms tbh, not just wc. But the actual physical body parts- how is that relevant. Why does anyone care. What are you using that info for. Why are people thinking about different body parts for these cats????.... Like why does a calico like Redtail HAVE to be intersex- does that mean something OTHER than Redtail having both male and female body parts??????? AND WHY IS THAT IN MY HEAD. I've never heard of an intersex pet cat in reality, even after working at the vet, is this just a genetics thing????

Like sure being able to have children can sometimes distinguish a character in terms of whether they will adopt or carry kits- but otherwise... why do people care what's swinging between the legs? What value is that info? Are these people DRAWING GENITALS OR SOMETHING??????

male calico cats are all considered intersex. the calico coat pattern is directly linked to two x chromosomes, which is why most calicos are usually female. male calicos have the xxy chromosomes which makes them intersex. redtail is intersex.

Oh boy anon, congrats; this one is so genuinely bad I was sent it by a friend to refute your claim! Hi there, guy with 2 1/2 years and counting of having cat genetics as a hyperfixation here, I know what I'm talking about.

Mandatory preceding disclaimer; people who don't understand what intersex means due to lack of education aren't who I'm bashing on here, nor are people who don't get how cats work. My issue is specifically with this kind of ignorance.

First of all; intersex does not inherently refer to external reproductive organs. Chromosome variation (such as Klinefelter Syndrome) can fall under intersex, as can certain hormonal conditions (such as PCOS). Even externally visible intersex conditions aren't just "having both sets" as this person is referring to. So already off to a bad start.

Second of all; most male tortoiseshell/calico cats are inherently intersex. In cats, base color (before other genes such as tabby, white, etc. are factored in) is determined by X chromosomes. XO (capital O) is red, or cream when diluted. Xo (lowercase o) is everything else; black, chocolate, cinnamon, blue/gray, lilac, and fawn. The Y chromosome does not affect color. A black cat is XoY if male or XoXo of female. Red is XOY or XOXO. Tortoiseshells, often called calicos when they have white spotting, need two X chromosomes, as they have both red and black. XOXo for females, which is why female tortoiseshells are far more common. For males, it's XOXoY. Essentially, a male cat with XXY chromosomes, which unlike with an XXY male who isn't a tortoiseshell, is readily apparent. This is far more common than a male tortoiseshell being a chimera.

So basically every single part of this statement is weird as hell lol. Nobody brought intersex Redtail into the Warrior Cats fandom just being weird and sexualizing cats as you imply anon; you did.

reincarnated cats are treated as separate entities, so someone could claim cinderheart and another person could claim cinderpelt

faded/permadead cats count for this, so you could claim spottedleaf if you're brave enough

cats and creatures outside of the clans count too, so go claim midnight and rock before it's too late

no co-owning cats/visitation rights/whatever other rule-bending you're thinking of. you either get them or die trying like a real fan
