There are glances held too long, with too much heat behind them for Barbatos to mistake them as anything other than desire. Sometimes, Barbatos will catch himself staring at them and wonder, ‘is that Lilith, in the slope of that nose, the curve of that smile, the subtle tint of those eyes?’ Diavolo watches him closely on those days, the lines of his grin morphing into more of a grimace.
