Miasma swung his door open, just about to step on the kit when he noticed him. Startled, he jolted back.

“Who are these kits’ parents…?” He mumbled to himself, kneeling in front of them.

“Can you speak, hm?”

Miasma raised an eyebrow before scooping the little guy up, holding him out with his hands beneath their arms. He was never one to really like kits, but he always tried to treat them kindly. The last thing this ministry needed was more ghouls raised to be brats.

“Do not slobber on me.” He said as he pulled the kit to his chest, then cradling, looking down at them.

“Where’s your mama at?”
