Everything got a little wild closer to the end of the season but I like I that way. Organized chaos. So many fun flowers dancing in the sun. Lovely shot of a good harvest pull mid August.

Some August to fall highlights. Great season of sun and rain. Had to water twice a day most days but totally worth it. The harvest was plenty. The sun was warm, the Gato was happy. All was good in the garden. Flowers were stunning and helped with pollination! We saw some garden visitors from all sorts of walks of life. A wholly bear even showed up for a day or two. So awesome!
The joys of July! Such a great month for these show stoppers!
Holly Hocks are so cute and consistantly blooming. The darker pink/purple one happen on the Same plant, they just get a little bit less sun then their sister flowers nearer to the top, paler in colour.
Echinacea or cone flower is one that will come back strong each year. I love the purple petals! The cone itself is really neat to watch as the pollen usually starts blooming from the outside towards the center in a spiral pattern!
Mountain Hydrangea, so glad I happened upon this one. Such a gorgeous show these bunches put on, first sending up the paper like larger one and then the smaller dainty pollen producers.
Phlox has been so neat to watch bloom the beginning of spring and then again now in late July another round on the same head! Just amazing how nature always bounces back!
Yuummmmm! I have had about 25-30 of these guys ripen and we made some salsa with them! So good!
This one has been an adventure! I tried planting one cucamelon plant last year and it did alright, but never produced actual fruit. This year I planted multiple plants, about 6 or so together and they are fruiting! A couple are almost the size of a peanut now! So excited to try them once they grow to size! ๐๐
Shasta daisy! I bought this gorgeous plant at the grocery store for 6.99. Once I planted it I noticed that there were multiple root plants in one pot! So now I have a mini field of daisies on my balcony! ๐๐
New hibiscus colour! Tropical punch! It is so bright in the sunlight, it is almost hard to look at it! I love this colour! ๐๐
These beauties are getting large now! โค๏ธโค๏ธ
Had a really neat genetic mutation happen to one of my flowers this morning! One fully pink petal! Wow!
