Almost 100% Sure On C-Section

Still waiting on old office to contact new office. Records were being processed. Saw High Risk Center and the doc says things have hardly changed. So, said come back in 3 weeks. However, he doubts anything will change and C-Section is most likely where we’re at. Doc recommended 37 weeks. Waiting for the office now for discussion. Kind of excited. Baby’s healthy and has hair!

Did Research on OB...

Let me tell you. After I started feeling uncomfortable with the inconsistency with my office, I decided to do research, wish I had looked into this doctor before I went to see him. There are more complaints than good reviews. People have also complained about unneeded surgeries. What? Asked in a free advice group if anyone knew about this OBGYN. One lady said she had complained about certain symptoms and signs. Was told to take meds and nothing was truly wrong. He baby died a week later. Another lady told me there was a Class Act Lawsuit on this guy. I too found a review who said they were suing. Excuse me? What? So, I am in the process of getting a new OB Doc. Had to sign a release form and waiting for them to fax my information. It’s taking time due to Thanksgiving. If anything happens I plan to go back to the hospital. I have learned so much from the L&D Nurses there than I have with my OB except my Placenta Previa. Another reason I’m getting a new OB. I did decide to keep the High Risk Center appoint and will sign for a transfer on my records there as well.

Saw My Nurse, Not My OB?

So, my appointment I saw my obgyn, but got my APRN (nurse) instead. She was not informed or updated on anything. She had no idea I went to the ER twice. No clue I had ended up dehydrated and with contractions. We informed her what had happened along with the fact my OB Doctor refusing to fill out his FMLA paperwork for emergencies. She too was confused. She said to try the High Risk Center for paperwork. If not, she would find a way to make it work. Also, they kept telling me my C-Section would be in December. Nurse said one week before due day. Proceeders were also done by someone other than my OB Doc. What? Am I meeting this person? Do I get to talk to them prior? WTH?

Again To The ER

Back and ribs started to hurt like the other day. This time it kind of felt like it was starting over or a kidney infection. Everything turned out fine. Baby is going through a growing spurt again and should expect some pain. Everything looked good and was sent home.

Told To Relax and Water

OBGYN told me to relax, drink water, and Pedilyte. Eat what I can. Was told to keep hydrated, because I can end up back in the ER easily. Told to pay attention to my body over the weekend. Any changes need to be reported. Baby is sitting breech. We got ultrasound just in case an emergency comes up and could end up in C-Section.

Feeling Horrible Update

Come to find out I was dehydrated. Severely enough I was on IV and it took 2 1/2 bags of saline. Due to being dehydrated I ended up with contractions. Managed to keep ice water down and applesauce. Sent me home for now.

Feeling Horrible

Going to ER. Pain keeps coming and going in waves. It feels like horrific acid reflux or GERD. I had tried eating. It made me sick and not keeping anything down.

Hospital Visit Last Night

26 weeks... Went back to Labor and Delivery due to feeling like I have a bladder infection. Some pain, minor cramping, bladder irritation and soreness, frequently urinating, and doesn’t feel like bladder will empty.. *Sigh* RN said everything checked out.. Rest and fluids. Was well hydrated. I felt dehydrated for whatever reason. I’m still sore. I’m wondering if I’m more sensitive to the baby growing and moving around due to having Fibromyalgia. RN says it’s a good possibility I’m just extra sensitive.

Got Gavin’s heartbeat. He wouldn’t sit still..

Sorry for not updating... Baby Gavin is healthy. Everything looks great. I on the other hand have Placenta Previa and it has moved some, but still blocking the baby for delivery. If it continues to move like it should then I won’t have to have a C-Section and regular labor and delivery can be achieved. I saw the High Risk Pregnancy Center (awesome place and staff). I will see them on Dec 6th for follow up. My OBGYN is on Oct 16th. Due date is undetermined due to not knowing when or if the Placenta Previa will resolve on its own.

Hun, I don’t wan to be pregnant anymore. No, I’m serious, I’m over it. I’ve been trying to take a nap for the last hour and a half and I can’t. She kicks me every time I get comfortable. I just want to sleep, that’s all, and I can’t even get that one little thing.

No, I’m not kidding! Nothing even fits me anymore. I used to be cute. Now I just look strung out. I didn’t even really want this kid anyways. Is it too late to have an abortion? Seriously, get this thing out of me. I’m so over it.

I feel similar, but it’ll all be worth it in the end. I’m high risk and dealing with other medical problems. Fibromyalgia has flared even worse than usual. I have a bulging disc in my lower back and the extra weight I carry pinches my back and the nerves. This also causes inflammation. I hear ya. It’s tiring. I sleep split schedule too. I sleep roughly 3 hours in the evening and 2-5 in the daytime. I also take care of a dog with Diabetes and work on her schedule. I spend some time with my husband due to him being graveyard and working 12 hours at a time. Mentally I’m going crazy. Still need to find a therapist. It’s hard work.

Almost Passed Out At Ultrasound

Went for just an ultrasound check yesterday. Laid down. Was doing okay. Then couldn’t breathe, head started hurting, got suddenly warm, the nauseous. Tech asked if I was ok. Said no and she got me on my side with a cool washcloth on the back of my neck. That helped. 21 weeks and she says normally it happens closer to 28, but there are some special people. Always the lucky one. To boot, Was sick last night with angry tummy and morning after I had laid down and dozed off. One hell of a day.

Went To The Hospital

18 Weeks: Had some spotting and was concerned on Aug 28th in Fresno, CA. I was diagnosed with Placenta Previa. 

Went to my OBGYN today and was told no vigorous activities and couple other things. Otherwise OBGYN has a plan of action and never felt more relieved in my life! We had a miscarriage before this baby is why I was so upset just last year around this time!

Baby Shower Went Well

We fell behind on time, but food was great thanks to our Friend and his Old Lady. They also made the reveal cupcakes! It’s a Boy!! Had lots of fun and played good games. Had great company.

Testing Done

 We have done some testing at 16 weeks. Baby is Normal as far as they can tell. More testing will be done on August 20th. New ultrasound will be done at 20 weeks. Gender will be revealed on August 20th, 2019.
