hello! nice to meet you!

i'm karina, and this is my little studyblr. ♡

here are a few quick facts about me:

i'm an 18 year old filipino

freshman college student

ba global affairs and diplomacy

humanitarian diplomacy major

wannabe journalist & writer

i'm a lesbian!

my interests include writing, reading (prose, poetry, and nonfiction), watching (tv shows, anime, horror movies), listening to podcasts (horror story podcasts mostly hehe), and playing my guitar and ukulele!

my academic goals for the entirety of my college life is to graduate with honors, become a dean's lister, and to get heavily involved in organizational work! i want to try becoming a student leader as well, but i have absolutely zero knowledge about it as i've never been one before. but going to try my best, anyways!

on this blog, i will mostly be reblog-heavy, but i will try to post some of my own content. i bet it won't be as aesthetic, but i'm trying not to let that intervene with showing my progress and daily activities on this space! :D

every minute spent on planning saves you ten minutes spent on execution. short essays probably don't require that much preparation beforehand, but if you're writing something longer you should probably spend some time planning first. this is the process i go through when planning my essays, and i find it works really well!

These two photos were taken like, two weeks ago. Funny enough, the latter one was 24 hours before I had to go back here in my home town. I haven’t been posting lately and I could partially blame that to the weird gap of two weeks of school, intramurals and then another two weeks of school THEN Christmas break. That weird gap in between school weeks just confuses me, and decreased my drive to be actually productive in the academic sense. 

I’m actually in a cafe now in my hometown actually being productive in my school works. I’m transcribing alot of my lectures in my majors due to the fact that their just. really time consuming and the information is just too much to process. Hence, here I am making this posts while everyone enjoys their vacations. 

I hope that 2019 has treated you all well.

i started redecorating and cleaning my workspace in preparation for the upcoming semester! just figured that a cleaner and brighter work area would help me cope with this new sem. i always struggle during the first weeks ahdjdkd, so i’m channeling my energy here for now. really loving the new tapestry i bought tho aaa, it’s so cute!

🍂 Today I woke up early to meditate & see the sunrise, tried journaling in cursive, read a little, and made a 2nd attempt at dalgona coffee (the froth is better than yesterday!). So far so good.
