Insatiable craving for loving parental care from a caregiver.
For back rubs when I crawl into their bed at night scared. For coloring and giggling and a "What color is that, little one? Hm?.. you're so right!" on the floor on our tummies.
For chocolate milk babas and feedings in their lap where I'm safe, sound, and warm. For outrageously silly conversations and play sessions and silly voices and my toys scattered across the room with my giggles echoing through the walls. For gently padding me up and soothing me during it and getting all the tapes right meticulously. For park outings and toy store outings and holding their hand in the street so I stay safe. For bedtimes and schedules that are firm enough to make me angy but lenient enough for me to understand. For help when I need it, for guidance when I want it, for kisses and hugs and an "I love you" always.
For their lap to be my throne and also my solace.
For them to be my solace.
Please.
