OKAY, SO...

clearly my attempt at a come back in february didn't pan out. without going into too much detail that i haven't already gone over in previous posts where i tried to come back, it's been real depresso espresso hours along with barely having enough spoons for my hobbies after taking care of my mom and the house.

HOWEVER, my hiatus hasn't been filled with all doom and gloom! because of how diligently i've been working, my mom has yet to return to the nursing home and she has genuinely gotten stronger since she came home almost a year ago! that, and i've been spending time reconnecting with friends that i haven't spoken to in years.

what i think i'm going to do as far as a return is concerned is to just slowly get back into the swing of things instead of thinking that i can just jump right back into my previous levels of activity with my current energy levels. though, i'll also offer to rp on discord in lieu of posting on here if that's your preference!

as always, thank you guys so much for your patience and understanding while i've been trying to maintain the schedule and momentum that i've cultivated thus far as far as taking care of my mom and the house is concerned. ♥ y'all are fantastic and i'm so grateful for those that have stuck around during this time.

it would be nice if life could stop lifing for a while, but!! i can now confidently say that everything is as it should be as far as my mom's stuff is concerned (finally, good lord) and i was able to get my job back as her caregiver after that uphill battle. so i think i'll be able to finally come back in full capacity to get things going again as far as roleplay is concerned. it's been a long couple of months, but i am so fucking glad that things are back the way they should be after insurance snafus and the like.

once again, i'd like to extend my gratitude for those of you who have been extremely patient while i got real life situated. it always makes me happy to know that y'all are still interested to write with me and enjoy my silly little ocs. ♥

tl;dr: it's been a shitshow as far as real life's concerned.

the nursing home my mom went to completely dropped the ball with her as far as discharging / reintegrating in to the community again. essentially, nothing was done the way it should have been and so, it's been up to me to get everything situated / fixed. thankfully, everything seems to be in place right now after a couple of months, so i should be around more often, and more importantly, finally reply to the drafts i've got.

lack of interaction ≠ lack of interest. sometimes, life gets in the way, or my muse doesn't cooperate with me the way i want, or i'm simply too anxious to take the first step. but just because we currently don't have any interactions going, doesn't mean that i'm not interested in writing with you and your muse(s). maybe the perfect opportunity hasn't presented itself yet, or i couldn't think of a good enough plot but that never ever has anything to do with you. after all, we're mutuals for a reason and that's usually because i enjoy seeing you on my dash and would love to write with you ― whenever that may happen.
