For Azeroth - 25 Years of Warcraft The nostalgia is just... made me tear up. It's like watching part of my life in a cinematic. Happy 25 years Warcraft! Let's make them 25 more! Seeing this and knowing every scene and cinematic literally put a tear in my eye. Quarter of a century is a long time. I've been part of that journey since Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and I'm looking forward to seeing the 50th anniversary! So many epic moments, I still get chills from lines like "Did you think we had forgotten?" and "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!"
This is a great edit, whoever worked on this really knew what's good, great job. The chills, the nostalgia, and that background music choice! My favorite game. Ever. Would’ve trade it with anything. I love everything about this universe.FOR AZEROTH !!!
In the Beginning full movie.
"It is said that in every age, there is one single event that forever changes the world around us. A nexus if you will."
"It is said that the future is always born in pain. The history of war is the history of pain. If we are wise, what is born of that pain, matures into the promise of a better world. Because we learn that we can no longer afford the mistakes of the past."
"But in the pain of that war, a future was born. A future that would one day have a name whispered on a hundred worlds The final refuge for dreams. And our last, best hope for peace. Babylon 5." - Delenn & G'kar
"The Humans, I think, knew they were doomed. But where another race would surrender to despair, the Humans fought back with even greater strength. They made the Minbari for every inch of space. In my life, I have never seen anything like it. They would weep. They would pray. They would say good bye to their love ones and then throw themselves without fear or hesitation at the very face of death itself. Never surrendering. No one who saw them fighting against the inevitable, could help but be moved to tears by their courage, their stubborn nobility. When they ran out of ships, they used guns. When they ran out of guns, they used knives and sticks and bare hands. They were magnificent! I only hope, when it is my time, that I may die with half as much dignity as I saw in their eyes at the end. They did this for two years. They never ran out of courage. But in the end, they ran out of time." - Londo
"For the next ten years, one question would obsess a hundred worlds. Why did the Minbari surrender at the battle of the line on the very eve of victory? The answer to that question would change the galaxy forever." - Londo
Has anyone ever wondered what kind of school Luke was running in the Legends canon?
His niece’s bedroom was a literal scrapyard. His nephew’s? An honest to god fucking zoo. Tenel Ka hiked into a volcano to get the crystal for her first, failed, lightsaber. And they all went on regular unsupervised trips into the jungle where they discovered Sith ghosts and half-crazy abandoned Imperial pilots.
It’s amazing.
That is a mighty prize.

Babylon 5 - Series Review
“Now get the hell out of our galaxy.”
J. Michael Straczynski’s Babylon 5 was the last, best hope for a rival sci-fi television franchise to challenge the dominance of Star Trek. It failed. And let’s be glad it did. Last thing we needed was another bloated franchise knocking out a never ending cycle of naff spin-offs. Instead let’s be thankful for what remains to this day as one of the finest sci-fi series ever made. But it did take some time before it became that.

The truth? You’re not ready for the truth. The facts? If that is the only way to get to my work: Yes. The Vorlons have been to earth. The Vorlons have been everywhere. The Vorlons ARE. My name is Sebastian. I resided at 14b Harisford Lane in London in the year of our Lord 1888. I was found, by the Vorlons, taken, transported and brought into their service. They told me everything about everything and the scales fell from my eyes and they were open to a universe of majesty and terror that you could never imagine. They call upon me when I am needed and preserve me when I am not and they have called upon me NOW for this interrogation. You will allow me to finish the work that has brought me here or you will let me leave. Because either way I have told you ALL that I intend to.

Mara Jade Coming To New Canon? | Talking About the Rumors If they use Mara Jade, it will generate a train wreck. She is Luke Skywalker’s wife & Jedi Master to Jaina Solo, any interpretation to the contrary is blasphemy!
I am a HUGE Legends fan, but I don't want any Legends Characters coming to Disney canon. They've already ruined Luke, Han, Leia, Lando, & Chewbacca. I don't want the Legends Characters ruined too.
LucasFilm only understands the superficial elements of what made the EU great as opposed to why we as fans fell in love with it. Was it perfect? No. But it had structure. And the new characters that were made, Thrawn, Mara Jade, Talon Karde etc. Were well-written and could stand on their own. They didn't require any nostalgia to make them good. I came to the conclusion it's better to keep the EU legends character separate from Disney Canon. I thought the EU got in their way of their creative freedom, but it seems they are cherry picking it for nostalgia.
Needing some laughs on this strange, empty Thursday so I went back and watched the most classic D&D moment in history
