Delicious Dinner at SattgrĂŒn :)
Your Beliefs donât make you a better person; your Behaviour does.

Left Photo may 2015, right photo september 2016 This is how my body on a vegan, gluten and sugarfree diet changed. So happy about the results :))
So delicious! Vegan, gluten- and sugarfree pancakes at HÀlsocafét in Stockholm.
Accept the fact that you are not perfect and see how much easier it is to breathe.
Iâve wasted too much of my life trying to achieve perfection. Iâve finally realized perfection does not exist. (via earthlinglisa)
some things (that you might not realise) that can be hurtful to people recovering from an eating disorder:
âIâve only eaten x and x todayâÂ
âoh sheâs sooo skinny! body goals!â
talking about how much exercise youâve done/ how much you âneedâ to exercise/ TELLING THEM TO EXERCISE (most people in recovery are on an exercise hiatus until they are mentally/physically stable enough to return to it. it is GOOD for their bodies to not be exercising.)
talking/ acting negatively towards your own/ someone elseâs body (you shouldnât be doing this anyway, its not going to be anything but toxic for anyoneâŠ)
diet/ diet culture talk. this should be fairly obvious but talking about âhow too much x or x is bad for youâ or âx food group makes you gain weight!â is a) ridiculous and b) not what someone trying to learn how to look after themselves again needs to hear.
sharing details about your own unhealthy habits with another person suffering. this CAN be helpful if both people are okay discussing the subject matter. but please make sure your friend/ family member is okay to talk about these things with you.
asking questions/ talking about the suffererâs food/meals/habits
drawing attention to the fact that they are eating (eating in front of people is very commonly SO HARD for a lot of people. please be gentle.)
touching them. people in recovery most likely really uncomfortable in their bodies. this does get easier but make sure itâs okay before you give them a playful poke or squeeze or anything.
It can be ridiculously hard for someone to speak up about what can be harmful to them. Eating disorders are not to be fucked with, the sufferer is literally fighting an impulse to slowly die, and they have to face that reality 3-6 times a day. They are probably in an extremely vulnerable state, whether it shows or not. If your friend or family member is in that situation, avoiding some of these things, even if it might seem like nothing to you, could save them some unnecessary extra pain and stress.
If this post seems a little harsh, itâs because eating disorders are harsh. Iâm beyond angry about the amount of romanticising bullshit that gets spread about surrounding hurting yourself. DO NOT TAKE EATING DISORDERS LIGHTLY.
i rlly am not interested in whether men are made uncomfortable by feminism because i am made uncomfortable by men every day of my life

(idiom) Only the French would have such a way to describe beauty. A wonderful slang expression, it literally means âpretty and uglyâ but describes the type of feminine beauty that is human, and not manufactured by plastic surgeons. Itâs a kind of fascinating quirkiness implying charisma, a face you want to keep looking at, even if  you canât decide whether it is beautiful or not. (via wordsnquotes)
I put on my Tinder profile that I hate sports, I donât drink beer and Iâm 150% feminine all day all the time and so many guys are likeâŠoffended? One guy was like âwhat if the guy you like loves sports, you wonât even watch with him?â And I asked âwill you wake up at 8am during fashion week to watch live streams of shows with me because thatâs what Iâm really interested in. And he said âI donât really find that interesting.â And Iâm like THEN WHY THE FUCK WOULD I CARE ABOUT SPORTS FOR YOU OMG.Â
this isnât an isolated thing. women are expected to change for men. if you donât want to have children (ever) then someone is bound to say to you: well, what if your husband wants to have children? i was thinking about dyeing my hair & my dad says, what if the guy youâre dating doesnât like it? weâre expected to lose weight & to dress in a certain way to appeal to men. weâre expected to be less opinionated, less assertive, less talented when competing against a man⊠it never fucking ends.
