Reason N° 56282929292 I don't trust Feyre POV:

When people say "Ooh Nesta was so mean! She refused to teach Feyre how to read!!"

▪️ACOTAR according to Feyre:

According to this train of thoughts, Nesta and Elain didn't bother to teach Feyre how to read and hence why she grew up illiterate. As if Feyre asked them and they flatly just said NO.

▪️But then we get to ACOWAR and guess what?:

▪️A couple of things:

1. Neither Nesta nor Elain knew about Feyre's inability to read.

2. Feyre never asked them to teach her. She straight up made assumptions that they wont bother or they will just refuse.

3. Nesta would have taught her, she freaking loves books and reading!! And Elain, sweet sweet Elain as Feyre always describes her...why would she refuse to teach Feyre?? If Elain is always super kind and nice?

4. Nesta getting all the information about Feyre through Amren. And this is not the first time. If Nesta didn't care about Feyre, she wouldn't even have bothered to ask Amren about Feyre.

You want another proof:

Again, Nesta getting information about Feyre from Amren, this time regarding the blood rubies. Which btw, this is one of the reasons that made Nesta decide to join the High Lords meeting. Because her little sister risked her life to defend a court that sent her a death threat!

Also, we see how Nesta in ACOFAS detaches herself from her sisters and the IC. We know that she decided to leave Feyre's home and live on her own. Why? Because that way she can have some privacy and also she wont get judged every single minute of the day on what she does or should do. (Apart, of course, from all her PTSD struggles, etc..).

But guess what?

Who is the only person she actually keeps in contact with?? Who, out of her sisters and the IC she actually bothers to visit and talk with?

Yep, you guessed it. Freaking AMREN.

Nesta, the cold bitch who doesn't care shit about anyone else, actually bothers to visit Amren and watch her build puzzles while they talk. And guess who always feed Nesta information regarding what's going? Yep, right again. AMREN.

Sometimes, I do struggle with first person narrative because they dont tend to be objective but, the trick is to know how to read between the lines. I could go on and on about lots of things I've been finding that I think they're important to highlight when it comes to secondary characters, without involving Feyre and Rhysand.

I find frustrating that people dont seem to move on from the first 4 chapters of Acotar when it comes to Nesta, but the other characters are just fine.

Perhaps, closer to the release of ACOSF I might post some of my notes of the little things I think might be important to mention when it comes to Nesta, Cassian, Elain, Azriel, Lucien, Mor, Tamlin and Eris because I know they will all play a role in the next books.

LUNAR CHRONICLES SPOILERS

So cress manages to live seven years of her life in isolation and within weeks of being rescued manages to reel in a guy who avoided committed relationships at all costs and was on the run for most of his life to avoid being thrown in jail again. EVEN THOUGH her social skills are at an extreme low.

Woke up this morning at seven thirty and went downstairs. I got my bowl and cereal only to look up and find my mum staring at me with genuine curiosity.

“What are you doing?” She said. I frowned and continued on making my cereal before muttering,

“Eating. Why?” She raised both brows still with genuine shock in her eyes.

“Why are you up so early? You never come down at this time? What’s wrong?” It was my turn to raise a single brow, finally taking a spoonful of my breakfast.

I work in a shoe store. Keep that in mind when you hear about this customer....

Manager went on break and I was alone, everything was fine and there was only one person in store. The phone rings and I pick it up,

“Insert long introduction of who I am and where I work here, how can I help?”

“Hi! So do you guys sell vibrators?”

“Uhm, this is a shoe store.”

“.....”

“So you won’t have lingerie either....”

“No. Only shoes.”

“You have purple sneakers?”

“Yes we do.”

And then went on for ten minutes describing in detail the purple shoes we have.

So I’m in an Uber and everything was fine.... then they took a turn and I was thinking about how it’s different to the normal roads we take and STRAIGHT AFTER THIS THOUGHT they go “just let me know if I’m taking a wrong turn to what your normally do. The rain messes up my gps sometimes.”

And I fucking freaked. Like mind reader?! Hello?!

So I was like “yeah all good.” Then I screamed really loudly multiple times in my head and she didn’t even flinch so I think I’m safe.

Sometimes I feel like telling people they are an unfortunate waste of sperm & are unnecessary on this earth.

Then I remember that human decency exists and I probably shouldn’t say that to someone.

Isn’t it sad that it takes something as drastic as death or something close to death for people to realise the extents of their actions. Someone could be a complete jackass and not feel a single ounce of remorse until the victim is in a situation where their life is at risk. What a sad world we live in for this to be something that actually happens.

I’m not mad.... I think they did a really good job with wrapping up the season

I see why people might be upset but I also don’t because what happened had to happen and I feel like everything ended where It needed to

Holy shit. That was some epic shit

I have never enjoyed watching something as much as I did watching that episode. That was 45 minutes of epic shit. This is what I live for.

I mean so much went down!
