In a way it was nothing like he had expected it to be. For the longest of time he would have disregarded it as being the work of fiction, a far too overused story plot of an uncreative mind, but admittedly, he would have to change his mind about the matter.
Honestly it was no surprise to him that he had now found himself here. He wasn’t particularly what could be called a good person. Some might argue that he wasn’t even a person in the first place. It was only expected for a monster like him to end up in this place. But how? He was invincible – not a claim caused by overconfidence in his own capabilities. The boy who was in his late teens could in no way be described as a capable fighter, nor was he particularly strong in any sense of the word. But to some people back in life he had been known under one particular desctiption: the immortal half-youmu.
He shouldn’t have died. He couldn’t have died. It simply wasn’t possible. After several attempts from those who saw him as a threat, as well as as his own experiments on the matter, he had drawn this conclusion. He was bound to live an entire life without the fear of death looming around. So how had he ended here?
Honestly that was the least of his concerns right now. This was what he had wanted for the longest of time. To perish from the world. It had been years since he first started thinking that it would be better if he wasn’t there anymore, so in reality he should be happy about how things had turned out. So what was that spiteful irony welling up in his stomach? Akihito let an index finger run over the wrinkles on his frowning forehead.
“ So I can’t even die properly, huh? What’s the point of it all then? ”
And there he was, approaching what he assumed to be Superbia's island ruler according to the many people who wandered around in the central. The appearance was quite expected for someone who has an eye wear fetish-- a mere guess, but with such golden rules it should not need to be said and explained-- a damn nerd and otaku type lurking around with his perversion heightened than the rest of the sinners’. Hell, even Battler was fond of glasses although not to the point where he'd enforce such a rule if he was in the position of the stranger.
Prior to this, he had conversed with Invidia's island ruler. He never got her name but that girl was a catch, not that it was an implication that he was into older women. What turned him off was the John Cena rule. At first, he found her attractive for knowing about wrestling and John Cena himself. Turns out, she had no knowledge about wrestling at all and it was her own Demon that suggested that third and divine rule. It was a shame, he was already ready to propose to her the very moment they met.
Hopefully this other island ruler wouldn't turn out to be another disappointment.
Battler suspiciously snickered, sparkling as he walked in circles around the boy. They seem to be around the same age, or at least appearance wise. Surely, that indicated an interesting potential bond between them! No homo though... just homies. What's better than this? Guys beings pals. Their sexuality as straight as a metal pole or their monster dongs.
"You're that Superbia man, right?" Fully ignoring the fact the other was just contemplating about his own death, Battler went straight to the point, like their sexualities. "Good idea to have that glasses rule! Gosh, wish I woke up in there instead. Imagine the paradise. Did you drool at the sight of cute ladies with glasses?" And he sure didn't know his own aunt was stationed there.
