In the wake of this win for Louis, it breaks my heart thinking about how far he could have gone by now if his label had had any interest in promoting him. The fact that his fans still go this hard for him – going on three full years of hiatus and with relatively little musical output – demonstrates his remarkable appeal and staying power.
Can you imagine where he would be if he’d had a label that wanted to profit from his success, and an *ounce* of professional support?
