OMITB Theories - Spoilers (up to ep. 8)
Now that we have a fuller picture of Zoe’s murder, I have a new theory on Tim’s killer, but I don’t know their motive.
I suspect Oliver’s son of being Tim’s murderer, for several reasons:
1. He is shown in the montage in episode 8 to be listening to the podcast, maybe just to hear the evidence they have
2. He is a vet and would have been able to poison Oliver’s dog without killing her, could have killed the cat that died the same day Tim did, and would have access to the medicine that poisoned Tim
3. As he is Oliver’s son, even though he doesn’t live in the building, the doorman would’ve recognized him and not considered him an outsider
4. He knew Mabel’s group of friends, maybe something happened when they were all younger?
5. This might be reaching, but he seems to be pretty well off, even for a vet. Maybe he is part of the jewelry operation and killed Tim over something to do with that?
6. Another theory with the animals - what if they were using the cat as a mule with the jewelry?
Could Oliver’s money troubles play a part in this? Maybe he framed the Dimases for Tim’s murder as revenge for Oliver’s downfall in the theatre world?
Again, I don’t know what his motive would be for this, but let me know what you think!!
