âwhat do you want to do with your life?â
A commune of trans people help the most beautiful man in the world kill a cop. Monkey Man is a perfect movie
When New Yorkers hear a violin đ€Łđ€ŁđșđŸđ„
This is what I should think when they say âBoys will be boysâ
Wholesome content~ xD
he really fucked the shit out of that violin
im going to fucking die
I unironically love every second
I donât know wtf i just watched but i love it with every fiber of my being
The first time I saw this it was captioned âgendry, the hound and arya in the forge in 8x01â
Christ sake how do I explain to my friends who are parents that if they wouldnât speak to me like that, they shouldnât speak to their kids like that
Also
Itâs not that fucking deep just breathe no one is gonna die if they donât immediately do their chores just put a timer on for them so they can hear it Jesus fucking Christ
These people are neurodivergent so I had maybe stupidly assumed they knew how to manage neurodivergent brains but the way they speak to and treat the kids makes me really question that
On the bright side this is teaching me the kind of parent that I desperately donât ever want to be. I hate how he speaks to all of the kids and just people in general! Heâs just so fucking rude and judgemental all the time it drives me mad
Like, my dude, shit isnât that fucking deep just take a breath and move on, let other people do what they want cause I guarantee that the shit that he comments on fucking constantly does not ever affect him even in the slightest
For someone who complains about the older generations so much, he sure does act a hell of a lot like them
God he just irritates me so fucking much why does he need to be so aggressively rude all the goddamn time? To strangers, to workers, to his own fucking family? HIS WIFE AND BABY Jesus it pisses me off so much but I canât do anything about it cause I love the rest of them itâs literally only him thatâs like this
Christ sake how do I explain to my friends who are parents that if they wouldnât speak to me like that, they shouldnât speak to their kids like that

so sorry for my delayed response to this email, i have been very swamped being a confused and frightened idiot who canât do basic life tasks like respond to her emails
In the club
Take Me To Church by Hozier except heâs practicing it alone in the front of an empty cathedral, while you watch, hidden, from far behind the pews. Heâs at least physically alone, because when you search for the source of the backing vocals, you see no one else.Â
fashion designers put a halo and wings on a model and call it an âangelâ look. where are the wheels within wheels? the multitudes of staring, glowing eyes? the trumpets of rapture? the bloodied swords? where is the fire, the incomprehensibility? the ear-shattering âdo not be afraidâ that makes the audience fear god and have prophetic visions? extremely unsexy of the fashion industry to not realise what the viewer really wants
We are forced to live in a system that steals from us daily, Kill snitch culture.
Important things to keep in mind!
- never take from âmom and popâ type store. Its likely youâll actually harm them, whereas taking from a walmart wont effect much.
- never take items that a worker is assigned to monitor (usually super expensive items), theyll be in trouble for it. and its usually a minimum wage worker and usually they lose hours or pay, or they even get fired.
- similar to the above, never take things that are usually locked up for the above reason
- if its a store you know gives their near-expiration products to workers/charity, try to avoid taking the near expiration products.
- if youre taking clothing, avoid leaving hangers. it sounds weird, but itll make it seem like it was more likely an error in the computer than a theft, since the empty hanger sitting there will seem suspicious.Â
- also for clothing, try not to take more than one item at once, as it will look suspicious if theres 10 medium shirts missing, and it wonât be written off as just a stocking error. and it will lead to workers being penalized
- basically just always consider âwill this harm a workerâ and if the answer is yes then dont do it
like i was homeless for a while when i was younger and i tried to follow those guidelines to avoid doing harm to people who were probably not much better off than me while trying to get food for myself.
Holy crap, is there like an unspoken thieves code or something?!
itâs a thing. I wonât even lie. I watched someone slip a nursing exam book in their bag at the store I worked at. She made eye contact with me and the blood drained from her face. I simply gave her a sympathetic nod and walked away.
I live in a small town and I knew she was a waitress at a hotel my sister works at, and people at that hotel donât tip well during off season. Nursing exam books are 50+ bucks. Being a med student myself, I didnât even breathe a word, and when inventory came up later and the book was missing, I suggested it was likely a mislabel, and the manager wrote it off.
Sometimes, thievery is a necessity. Donât send people to jail over petty things.
theft for many is survival in this system and taking away from multi-billion dollar companies that are a part of the oppressive capitalist system
I love this post so much. Like, an unbelievable amount.Â
And they say thereâs no honour among thieves.
I feel like itâs time we talked about how there is no such thing as universal accessibility. One space cannot be accessible for every single person. And I donât say that to suggest that we just shouldnât try making spaces as accessible as possible, but rather to say how important it is that we have multiple, different spaces.
A place that is well-lit and has lots of natural light will help many visually impaired people, but it will be a nightmare for anyone with photo-sensitivity. A small, dimly lit, quiet space might be ideal for somebody with sensory overload, but not for somebody with claustrophobia. A solarpunk utopia where the cities are filled with plants and trees and green might massively help the populationâs depression and general spirits, but it would be hell for anyone with autoimmune disorders and allergies.
At the LGBTQ+ Christian group I go to, there are some really flamboyant, loud, and excitable extroverts there, who love to sing their hearts out and clap and dance during worship. There are also people who have sensory issues and anxiety exacerbated by loud noise. It cannot be a safe-space for everyone to express themselves freely, if itâs also a safe space for those with anxiety.
In a learning environment, one child with ADHD may need to bounce their leg or fidget with something in order to concentrate, while another autistic child finds that incredibly distracting and makes them anxious.
A small, tight, cosy space thatâs reminiscent of a village pub or small cottage might be ideal for making me feel comfortable, sheltered and reducing my anxiety and social exhaustion, but it wouldnât be very accessible for a wheelchair user or someone with physical mobility issues. I am both of those people.
Nobody is doing anything wrong, nobody is being victimised by another person, thereâs no right and wrong in these situations. Itâs just that those people have opposing needs that canât be accommodated in the same space at the same time. And we need to talk about that.
Whatâs important is that we create different spaces to cater to a multitude of needs, and that we listen to peopleâs needs. Most importantly we need to look at which groups of people and which needs are often ignored, and which people have very little access to spaces.
Abundant equitable spaces are important.
