I'd be crying too if I were tangled in a fishing net and dragged up from my deep-sea home. This custom Monster High Lagoona Blue doll features a completely hand-painted, emotional face, done in artist acrylic and colored pencil, and sealed with mr. super clear matte. Her hair has been styled to look like she's spent her life in the ocean, sea-scraggled and unkempt. She is wrapped in soft, light-colored netting that can be re-wrapped and shaped however you see fit. Though the base doll itself is completely safe for children, the wrapping is not really meant to be played with as it is not permanently fixed to the doll and will just kind of fall off during play if not secured. I recommend this mostly for display only, as the look on her face and her netting tell a very specific kind of story. Her original leg-fins are included.

Do you use colored pencils to draw certain things on the faces of your customs? I really wanna do a face paint one day but idk where to start.

i use mostly colored pencil and chalk pastels! the pastels give the blushing effect and the colored pencils are great for doing fine lines, like eyelashes. i also use small amounts of acrylic paint to do the highlights and other details on the eyes. starting with paint is really scary tbh because it can difficult to control. i watched this tutorial by retrograde works AFTER doing my first few paints in all acrylic and it definitely changed my perspective on different materials!

Monster High Custom Clawdia Wolf Dark Purple Locs

My custom Clawdia is up on my etsy store!

This custom Monster High Clawdia Wolf doll features a hand painted face, complete with a beaming smile and braces! Her eyes are a metallic gold to match her fingernails and dress, and her hair is soft, eggplant-purple yarn to replicate locs of various lengths. I do not recommend restyling her hair, as it is rooted specifically for this style, taking special consideration for where her wolf ears were removed. Her face was painted with prismacolor coloredpencils and liquitex artist acrylics, and sealed with Mr. Super Clear matte.This doll comes with a stand.

mostly finished clawdia custom! i am in love with her locs (maybe they look more like twists...) and golden brown eyes. i need to tone down the under-brow highlight, but i love her hair and face and especially her braces.
