Just finished this book and it’s AMAZING!! go read it right now

it’s so good and so gay and it’s probably going to make my top 5 for the year. This is A. J. White’s first novel and it’s a perfect start to what I hope is an impactful career. The writing is so concise and clear and so consistently good, it’s truly a marvel and I will always adore it.

This is a Harry Potter AU where Charles and Erik fell in love when they were at Hogwarts together but they had a bad falling out and didn’t see each other for ten years. Flash forward and Charles is working at Hogwarts as the divination teacher when Erik joins the staff as the new potions Master. They reluctantly start to fall back in love with each other after years apart but their rocky history stands between them.

It's just the right amount of angst with some very real emotions sprinkled in coupled with realistic characterizations and beautiful story telling, it’s just all so masterfully put together and I really couldn’t ask for a better Cherik Harry Potter AU. It is quite possibly my favorite work ever and stands today as my #1 cherik fic rec. Please give it a shot

good barduil fic!!!!

A few months ago I read In The Woods Somewhere by Ias on ao3 and it was amazing!! 

Summary: Bard is a mechanic and Thranduil is a centuries old vampire that decides he wants to kill him. 

JESUS CHRIST this fic is SO GOOD!!! It’s story line is beautifully crafted and along with being haunting and dark and mysterious, its amazingly written and a true masterpiece of a fic. I would not recommend it as an introduction to the barduil ship because it gets really intense at times but it honestly has changed the way I look at creating writing and it is such a fantastic experience and I could honestly talk about it for ever.
