it's genuinely ridiculous when people will fully acknowledge that a game is being unethical by having microtransactions and then still pay money for like, a stupid fucking in-game outfit. it's not about spending your money how you want it's about the message you're sending to the company, that they can do these things and get away with it because even if people don't like it they'll still pay for whatever bullshit they sell. and these people will say"no ethical consumption under capitalism" yeah when it's a fucking necessity? i don't think you need a digital rainbow dog that does nothing. you'll live

am i crazy or is finding a good youtube video to watch really hard lately......... every other video is about some stupid controversy that's already been covered a hundred times by other youtubers and none of them add anything interesting to the conversation..... and every thumbnail and video title is overstimulating and genuinely painful to look at

Am I the asshole for not telling my sister not to drink out of fly traps?

So there's a fly problem in my apartment right now. I'm (NB 26)trying to get rid of them by setting up glasses of pink Moscato around the apartment to trap the flies.

Mixed results but it's helping. And then I had a sister come over (F 22) who was visiting for a few minutes while I grabbed something in the other room. (I think it was a vacuum for her car).

So I left her alone in the living room for a few minutes to grab the vacuum when I came back she was drinking one of the fly traps.

When I asked her what she was doing she said she smelled alcohol and she figured it was okay for her to drink. I then told her that wasn't for drinking it was for catching flies and she got so upset she started puking in my living room and she left so I had to clean it up myself.

I got a text from her saying I was an asshole for not warning her that the glasses of pink Moscato were fly traps.

I didn't think I would need to warn her because who drinks an open glass from someone else's house? But now I'm wondering am I the asshole for not warning my sister the glasses of wine were for trapping flies

Hello out is fly traps anon (don't recommend following this blog but we will see if it is a repellent)

To answer a few questions, yes I tried apple cider vinegar, and a few other traps but none are working as well as the pink Moscato but there's definitely a few I want to try.

Why am I using such an expensive method? I don't drink alcohol. At all. But people keep gifting me alcohol thinking that I'll start drinking if they just find the right alcohol. So I find uses for the alcohol instead of throwing it out.

Is your sister an alcoholic?

I am pretty certain she is now. She wasn't drunk when she got to my house. But I don't know how anyone would willingly drink a fly trap and not notice.

Was there flies in the trap she drank out of?

Yes. There was over half a dozen. She drank flies and also part of the reason I thought I didn't have to explain they were fly traps.

Where are the flies coming from?

My upstairs neighbor recently died and flies got into the air vents and made their way into my apartment.
