Making my reply own post at the request of a friend.

Literally: if being a homekeeper was truly as rewarding and as good a deal as men think/SAY it is, they'd be demanding to do it too. But what they fail to understand is that homemaking and childrearing are a FULL TIME UNPAID JOB. You don't get to quit, you don't get breaks, your priorities completely change and let's be really honest here: a lot of men KNOW this and they're perfectly content leaving it ALL to the woman. Men cry and moan about having to work 60 hours a week but have no issue leaving all the child raising to mothers. Sure, give ME that 60 hours work week, and YOU can take the 24-7 job of raising the kid(get them awake in the morning, feed them, bathe them, play with them, invest in their future with hobbies and college planning, school activities, sick care, hospital visits, birthdays, ALL DAY EVERY DAY NON FUCKING STOP).

Most men(dont even try to argue with me or it wouldn't literally be a stereotype) are pretty deadbeat and are only fathers in name: they dont do anything else except... what, make income? In most houses the woman has to work full time now too, so that's even MORE work she has to do. Of COURSE men don't want to do this shit(inb4 "there are men who want to be homemakers!" yeah and other men call them gay.)

MEN wouldn't do all that work unpaid, so why the fuck should women? Why are the ones who actually push out the damn babies always being told why they should in fact WANT to be taken advantage of literally every waking moment of their lives?
