‘absolutely nothing. i just thought you’d never ask!’ lucius opened up his long arms and reached out to pull him in snugly.

“I don’t know if today will work. I already have plans with this cute blonde guy who I’m giving another chance. I think you know him,” Daisy teased, “He can be a bit of an arse, but it’s hard not to forgive him when he smiles.”

lucius began to frown but her words had him smiling just as fast. ‘how cheeky, hookum. blowing me off for some cute blonde arse.’

“Thanks. For the record, I forgave you ages ago, and I do trust you now,” Daisy said softly, cuddling up against him.

‘did you?’ lucius sighed softly, smiling to himself as she spoke on. ‘i’m joyed to hear it, daisy.’

he tilted his head, feeling very naked as lucius looked him over. “we really aren’t. i expected you to be far colder… far more distant. far more… slytherin i guess.”

‘i can be.’ lucius shrugged because he was an array of things, he was a different person with just about everyone because he a was a bit of everything. ‘but i like being more natural around you. because you make it easy to just.. be. me.’

peter’s face flushed red as lucius pressed a kiss against his fingers. his gaze dropped down as he tried to pull himself together. “i mean… it’s really hard to focus around you. you’re stunning and nothing like i expected.” he paused. “guess we’re both different.”

lucius’ eyes searched over peter’s face, trying to take in every feature with a smile. ‘we’re both not who the world expects us to be. what did you expect me to be like?’

“bits and pieces.” he echoed, avoiding looking at the other as he got dressed. “you do want to know me?” peter responded, surprised. “why?” he took lucius’s hand in his, tracing the other’s palm as they sat there in the silence. “i erm… i’m not normally this eager.”

lucius pull peter’s fingers up to his lips and just kissed it lightly before settling back down. ‘i don’t mind your eagerness.’ he encouraged the other before continuing, ‘i want to know you because you seem very different. the way you look at me, it makes me feel warm.’

His smile widened, nuzzling closer as his eyes closed. Lu was like a magic charm so he wouldn’t fight resting. “I can teach you a little, but yes you can be the designated spoon holder.” He grew quiet after a small chuckle, focusing on how warm he felt. And he still felt warm when he began to stir some time later, cracking open an eye to take a peek at the boy.

‘okay.’ lucius mumbled against noah, drifting off fairly quickly because he was truly exhausted and the other’s warmth felt really good against his body. always having been a light sleeper, he let out a soft noise and tried to open his eyelids slowly to greet noah once again. of course sleep came rushing back and he just ended, turning into him and yawning in the pillow. ‘mmm hi..’

“You’d be find without me, Lu.” He gently bumped shoulders with a genuine smile. “Really, I think it’s the other way around.”

‘i can’t imagine not having you here. and i’m not going anywhere, so i guess we don’t need to dwell on it.’

Peter fell away, his breathing labored as he looked towards the other. “Was this the erm… fun you had in mind when you sat by me earlier?” He felt embarrassed asking but it had to be said. Peter looked around for his clothes, gather the pieces he’d strewn across the floor in their fit of passion. He ran a hand through  his  hair before moving to rest a hand against Lucius;s chest. “It’s okay if it was.”

lucius leaned against the wall and let out a deep breath, pushing back his hair and buckling his pants back up. ‘bits and pieces.’ lucius sighed out, gazing down at peter and not wanting him to feel like lucius only wanted sex. he didn’t... but he also didn’t not want sex. ‘i had fun, but i do also want to know you.’ he leaned up to press a soft kiss to his lips, pulling back with a smile. ‘i’m not at the place in life where sex is all i think about but i’m also not in any place to turn it down.’

peter let out a contented sigh as he shifted to sit on top the other’s lap. his arms instinctively went around lucius’s neck as their kissing slowed. he nipped at the other’s lip, making sure to keep with the rhythm even though the alcohol in his system was making it a little hard to concentrate. 

lucius let his eyes close naturally, his grip around the boy’s waist tightening as they settled together. his lips pulled apart from peter’s just to duck his head and kiss along his jaw, sucking softly against his skin and leaving an array of kisses.

peter watched as lucius took the bottle. a ridiculous grin had spread across his face although it faltered when the other moved in close. he could feel his cheeks heating up once more as lucius called him adorable. peter’s gaze dropped and he could feel his heart hammering away in his chest. rather than answering his question with words, peter placed his hands on either side of lucius’s face and brought his lips crashing back down. 

lucius smirked as he felt peter draw in closer, meeting his lips very easily yet excitedly. his arms wrapped around the other’s waist, tugging him closer till he was sitting on lu’s lap and pulling him down for another longing kiss, being very sure to not go too fast because half the fun was the wait itself.

“you’re absolutley stunning.” he countered with a nod, taking another swig of the firewhisky, peter felt his cheeks heat up as the other draped an arm around him. he rested his head against lucius’s shoulder before holding out the bottle. “but not as cute as you.”

lucius took the firewhiskey and took a long swig before setting the bottle down beside them and scooting in closer to peter. how he’d manage to barely even notice the boy for six years baffled him, but it seemed he was making up for lost time now. ‘thank you. but there’s no need to little yourself, you’re downright adorable.’ his lips hovered in closer till they were brushing against peters softly, ‘do you want me to kiss you, peter?’

“you’re cute.” he blurted out, his gaze dropping immediately as he realized what he’d said. “erm… thanks.” peter hurriedly took the bottle, taking a large swig. he winced as the liquid went down but it didn’t stop him from taking another. eventually he felt a nice buzz forming as he leaned slightly towards the other.

‘am i?’ lucius mused with a tilt in his head, raising his brows and watching as the other drank quite a bit of the whiskey. not that lu minded, he obviously wasn’t trying to get peter drunk, just a bit more relaxed. ‘you’re cute too, petey.’ lucius draped his arm around his shoulders, tugging in the other a tad bit closer.

‘i don’t think you are!’ lucius sighed, his point obviously getting destroyed by his choice of wording. ‘alright, okay. one day at a time is good with me. what about today? can we hang out today?’
