Slip Through Your Fingers
The Turnabout is a disorienting web of cracks below the ground's surface. Since its opening, the Inlaid Raven has been gliding through its twists with a discerning eye, its crystalline growths glistening even here where no light hits.
Landing on a ridge that's impossible to see, the bird starts pecking and clawing at one of the cracks until…
… something opens. The seekers that are nearby see, for a moment, the scene through the gap before an item falls through. A small origami crane that, once unfolded, reveals half of a letter.
The Raven glides away, looking for a new spot to pick at once it realizes this is not the one it's looking for.
The Hurrier I Go, the Behinder I Get
Two of the Seekers uncovered pure black cards with words written in light grey ink.
The card Mikhail was given with Matt in the Corner Office reads:
You've been cordially invited, The frayed lines all connect, truth-seeker At the fracture's center, oath-speaker
while the card Coronis found with Victor in the Classical Labyrinth reads:
You've been cordially invited, Opened for you in this sweet maze a gilded gate hidden from gaze; you shouldn't delay, you know what they say, about the poor songbird bird that stays.
Comparing their cards, the two sought to find out where they'd been invited. Seeking who they thought was the most knowledgeable about the Lane (and most eager to help, excitedly accepting), Mylita joined their search party.
After long observation of the Tourists and Echoes and the guidance of someone who's lived here for years and can actually tell the paths apart, Mikhail spies one of the Tourists going through a door in the Lane. Though they try to open the same door, it doesn't budge for them.
Coronis is the one who spots with her keen eyes that the doors across the Lane occasionally flicker before a bit of light shines around the frame, like a dim light was turned on inside. Seeking a door that's subtly lit, they're able to pass through.
This place is interesting; they hurry to find the other Seekers, sharing their discovery. Mylita at the very least is extremely excited to step inside.
The Turnabout is now available to explore.
