“I need you!” I pretty sure Xylo understands a Goddess need to be praised and wanted atp. So him yelling out “I need you” probably was a major thing for Teoritta and Xylo understands that. Straight up pulling my heart strings at this point AUGH- (English dub btw, he says “Help me out” in the Sub. Which would probably still illicit the same reaction. Idk what he says in the Manga)

I do believe she loves him but as a daughter obviously. But NOT in an actual fucked up relationship. They care for each other immensely and I love the fact that the creator shows that without making it super weird. It’s a genuine relationship with a daughter who was raised to be a weapon, and is now being taken cared for by a person who cares for her as a person, and a father who’s already lost a daughter before, that now has a second chance of being a better caretaker than he was before.
