Something really violent about eating a burrito. Biting a hole in that thing. A sandwich or a taco is different, it's already open, but a well-wrapped burrito is like a complete living thing in your hand, the taut skin protecting a complex network if internal organs. And you put a hole in it, maul it for sustenance, like a wolf on the open plain tearing the throat from a living gazelle. Or perhaps like a guy living in an infested apartment catching a white rat in his hands and just biting into it.
This post would not be gaining this much traction on a normal website
there are no thought crimes except for the ones that my cat commits when shes plotting for ways to jump up to the bookshelf to eat the plants
at it again
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Why do his kids have to have the weirdest friends
Do you think that Bruce sometimes pulls the âmy parents are deadâ card? Yes, I get that it was a traumatic and formative event for him but it would also sort of be funny, especially if heâs doing it ironically.
Some socialite telling him that he canât bring his kids to events, asking what his mother would have said and Bruce deadpans and goes, âI think she would have liked to have met her grandchildren. But of course, she never didâ
His med school lecturers threatening to flunk him if he doesnât hand in his essay on blood loss, only for Bruce to say âitâs just a touchy subject for meâ and the lecturer blue screening because shit
Some rogue tries to kidnap Bruce at some event, holding a gun to his head, just for Bruce to look at the rogue, almost tearfully and be like âi always knew I would end up like my dadâ and the rogue just panics because now they are in a room with a bunch of pissed off people because theyâve almost made the Princess Diana of Gotham cry.
Clark gets mad at him over something, yelling at him and of course Bruce is just no listening so Clark just snaps, Ma Kentâs favourite phrase of âwho raised you???â Only to completely fucking choke, pray for the ground to swallow him up because Bruceâs expression just slips a little (inside heâs hysterically laughing). Clark comes by again with a batch of cookies.
He can't obviously use it on the kids and they can't use it on him.
I don't want to put the user on blast but I just saw a "you're never too old to start" post about the Artemis II astronauts, and, respectfully, they are astronauts on our first trip back to the moon since Apollo because their entire lives have been building up to it. Christina, the youngest on the crew, wanted to be an astronaut since childhood, has two bachelor's degrees, and has been involved with NASA since 2001, well before she joined as an astronaut. Jeremy joined the Canadian equivalent to Civil Air Patrol at 12 and did his undergrad in space science. Reid started out as a Navy pilot in the late 1990s. Victor went to a public Ivy, has three master's degrees, and became a Navy test pilot 20 years ago. These people's whole lives have been building up to this.
We are not yet at the point in human space travel where you can just up and career change to being a working astronaut* unless you already are very well-established in a closely relevant career (like medicine), or you're part of a specialty program training mission specialists (like Christa McAuliffe was).
*as opposed to a space tourist
Perhaps a better message, if we insist on mining on here, is, "it's normal for people who are experts in their fields to be middle-aged, actually"
Genies can only grant wishes that are things that an ordinary person could do, just better and faster. The jinn are the creations of a divine being, and so they are part of the divine plan and cannot defy the natural order of things; a wish granted by a jinni canât turn the day into night or the sea into yogurt, but if you wish for a temple to be built, a jinni will build it by hand, the way men do, and have it done in a day.
If you need a wish granted that defies the natural order you gotta catch a leprechaun, because no god was involved in their creation whatsoever. They just kinda showed up one day in the nineteenth century. The Aos SĂ have no idea what their deal is
Youâre not hiding this in the tags buddy
i don't hide things in tags i simply allow the proletariat to determine whether it is praxis to make my statements heard.
the other reason the leprechaun shoots the king of england in the head is that, unnatural abomination against God and Fey alike or not, it's still Irish

horrible nasty biter up to no good again it seems! Get this cruel pair for only $22.44 now!
okay so my grandma had this friend and he was late to everything, but he didnât really mind, as he would always joke around and say âoh well, as long as iâm not late to my own funeralâ.
he recently passed away and last week at his funeral, everyone was in the church waiting for it to begin. they waited for more than 30 minutes past the set time and then came the news:Â
the hearse had gotten stuck in traffic. the hearse with his body in it.Â
he was late to his own fucking funeral.Â
A series of events:
1. I put in an Annual Leave request form almost 3 weeks ago and my boss has not approved it yet
2. I went into my office today and replaced every single writing utensil with crayons in preparation for April Fools Day on Monday
3. Whilst searching for pens to remove, I found my unsigned Annual Leave form in my bossâs drawer
4. I placed my unsigned Annual Leave form in a photo frame and put it on his desk
5. The frame I used was from a photo of his kids that I deemed less important than my Leave form
6. My boss sometimes goes into the office on Saturdays to work
7.
Happy 2 year anniversary to the post that my old boss allegedly now has framed in his office, next to the recovered photo of his children.
Iâm writing scenes which are good, and I donât know where they are going to fit in the book. But itâs what I call âThe Valley Filled With Cloudsâ technique. Youâre at the edge of the valley, and there is a church steeple, and there is a tree, and there is a rocky outcrop, but the rest of it is mist. But you know that because they exist, there must be ways of getting from one to the other that you cannot see. And so you start the journey. And when I write, I write a draft entirely for myself, just to walk the valley and find out what the book is going to be all about.

âchuffed doesnt mean what you think it meansâ
it means exactly what i think it means its just some stupid word that literally has two definitions that mean the opposite thing
what the hell
This makes me really chuffed
This post is quite egregious
Well Iâm nonplussed by this whole post.
goddamnit.
all of you go to hell
And you wonder why i am boggled at times
These are called contronyms! A word that is its own opposite.
Why the fuck do these exist
One theory is that the sarcastic use of the word became exceedingly prevalent and because another dictionary definition.Â
Are you telling me that we were such sarcastic shits it literally changed our language.
Literally is another example now.
There are 21 languages that have Contronyms/Contranyms.
English has 128 contranyms, almost 5 times that of language with the next highest number of contronyms (Arabic with 26) and more than the total number of crontranyms of every other language combined (89).
We just love being contrary little shits

Do you kinda hate AO3?
Do you kinda hate AO3?
Yes
No
imagine hating a non-profit site created by fans, for fans, with excellent tagging system, no censorship, no ads, no algorithm, no capitalism bullshit â just fans creating and sharing their art with other fans for free, out of pure love and passion â couldn't be me
I hate it now because it allows generative ai writing. Like, excuse me? You did not write the story. You asked a program to do it for you. That's not work from a fan. It's just pure laziness, and it says enough.
Don't try to change my mind. Instead, get a poll going to tell AO3 to refuse gen ai for good. Fuck ai. Ban ai. Get fucked with your ai love shit.
AO3 has to allow AI generated fics because 1.) no censorship means nothing is censored 2.) itâs literally impossible to know FOR SURE which works are AI generated and which ones arenât.
AO3âs banning AI generated works would mean their volunteers would have to read each of those reported fics and determine based on vibes if they were AI or not.
Do you think AO3 has enough resources and volunteers to do that? Do you genuinely believe genuine writers wonât get falsely reported and have their hard works wrongly marked as AI and taken down?
Whether or not you like it, itâs getting more and more difficult to tell which fics are AI because AI are getting âbetterâ. Thereâs always a chance of a human made work âlooking like AIâ, because AI was trained on human made works.
An uncomfortable truth on 1,086 days left
No censorship doesn't mean "except the one we hate" it means NO. CENSORSHIP.
No exceptions. Not one. Not even that horrible disgusting one every decent person in existence hates. Not even that one that intentionally romanticises abuse or rape or similar things. Not even that AI generated one.
