Not some people actually thinking Vox teared up because he was scared to die- that he was sad to die even if it was worth it to kill Alastor-

Did we watch the same show?!

Vox´s words about "wiping that smile off Alastor´s face" weren´t JUST about killing him, if that is even what Vox wants ultimately (I doubt it, boy doesn´t just know how to deal with rejection after getting everything he wanted in life).

Alastor´s laughing reaction back when Vox made his business proposal hurt him so deep that getting the smile off was the only thing that mattered.

And getting that off his chest (maybe even speak it loud out for the first time ever) broke him.

I thought it was so obvious but reading some comments, especially on tiktok, leave me shocked.

Also: In all 70+ years after the fall out of the media demons Vox not once genuinely cared about Velvette or Valentino. Only Revenge. Maybe he will learn now how to care for them but he didnt before, and it was obvious since S1 if you ask me.
