My RotTMNT Zombie Apocalypse AU synopsis:
The Krang have been contained, but their infection has not. This Krang Zombie Infestation is not the same threat as the one from the future Casey Junior came from. Yet the world still succumbs to ruin.
But no one stops fighting.
Least of all the Hamatos.
The problem is...it would be a lot easier to fight this if they hadn't been separated.
Leonardo leads a small band of humans, mutants, and yokai, including Casey Jones, Baxter Stockboy, Warren Stone, Hypno-Potamus, and the Mud Dog, Leonard, looking for a decent place to call base. And looking for family.
Mikey and Draxum wander the city, helping passing groups of survivors by defending them with mystic powers or healing them or feeding them. They have become legends that people whisper about around campfires.
Donnie is with April. She's injured and sick from infection (not Krang infection, but still). Without electricity, Donnie depends greatly on his resourcefulness to protect and care for both of them. There's just one tiny issue...Donnie's starting to feel not so great himself.
Raph has gone completely feral on his own. Will he come back to his senses if he finds his brothers though? Is he too far gone? Maybe he'll find help from an old friend. Or a forgotten family member.
Can they all find each other again? Will they all make it out of this alive? And can they find a way to eradicate this plague of zombification for good?
Basically the premise is: what if just because the Krang were taken care of, that doesn't mean the Krang zombies were? And what if that infection spread?
I have a few chapters for this AU written up, and I'm pretty happy with them. Let me know if y'all'd wanna read them. BE AWARE I don't really have a direction for the story, let alone a full plot, so don't expect, like, regular updates if I DO post anything for it lol. I just had a lot of fun writing it.
