I don't know where to start with this post. I have so much to say. This bind has been weeks and weeks in making. From the drawing to designing the cover to the typesetting and binding the fic itself.

The author tagged it as a "long garbage" and sure it is the 10th longest fic in my bookmarks but only the 3rd longest I've ever bound. With its more than 200k words it got up to 600 pages and my poor old printer nearly wept ink. It is massive and heavy, but both inside and out so it balances :) Is it suffering from an acute case of fridging? Also yes, but if the author is painfully aware of it, what's there not to forgive and overlook? There are so many fics out there where our Peg gets a happy ending. The author has done their very best at discouraging people from reading it and not listening to them has been the best decision I could have made.

Homecoming remains one of the most beautiful and heartfelt works I have ever read.

They say one man's garbage is another one's treasure and I do treasure it. I am not a crier but I just keep bawling my eyes out nearly every other chapter (even on a reread) and the end of it found me sobbing (but so very happy). This took so much effort and love to write, thank you dear author!

For one glorious moment, when I was trying on my mock copy paper cover to check the dimensions, the cover was white and I nearly convinced myself to order that nice sturdy cover paper in white and wait a month for it to be delivered. I didn't but it was a near thing.

It is blue instead but look at that beautiful rounded spine! Isn't it gorgeous? I'm starting to get the hang of this binding thing.

Also I had so many small variations of the dust jacket I just kept pestering my flatmate to help me choose one.

What do you think? When, and it is a when, I wear out this one, I might mix it up and make a different one.
