my two worlds colliding 💞
"carpe diem"
but i whispered at the grave, should’ve kissed you anyway
as much as i love delena, stelena will always have a place in my heart
they should’ve had a happy ending
stranger things finale
am i the only one who actually liked the ending of stranger things 5?
obviously there are still plot holes like birthday gate and unexplained things that i wish the duffer brothers would have explained in the final episode, but emotionally the ending did what it needed to do.
I personally loved elevens ending. After everything she had been through with the lab and being used as a weapon her whole life, she was able to finally escape that life. that final choice she makes is so important, because even though she had to die, she finally got the peace she deserved.
I wasnt a fan of how short the battle with the mind flayer was, the duffer brothers couldve extended that. plus it was the perfect way to kill of a main character. However, i still think that battle was written perfectly - with joyce getting the final hit on vecna.
I also love the end scene in the basement, where we get to see a flash forward to all their lives, and the theory that eleven is alive (which btw i choose to believe for mental health reasons) I felt like that was a really emotionally powerful scene as we now see that their childhoods are over.
