i had a pride stall at my cities pride event, of which thousands turned up. plenty people went past my stall.

i had this one piece that said "bite transandrophobes" and until someone finally bought it it was my most picked up/looked at piece. so many people pointed it out smiling, showed their friends, said it was cool. and again someone did buy it, and another asked if instead i could make it again on a big canvas (the origional was an a6 postcard). not all of them were trans men/masc either, many had she/her pins and they/them pins, etc

the people at pride appreciated and loved the point. very happy to see so many people agree :) bite a transandrophobe!

transandrophobes may be loud but there are so many allys who love us, and they are proud of it

I know it's more nuanced than this but I think having a hard policy of thinking anyone who genuinely hates one group of queer people for their identity might as well hate all of us and thus I should block any queerphobic queer person I see can do a lot to save you from believing anything exclusionists say.

I do think that the funniest way to respond to schismatics whose core complaint is that your institution is changing too quickly is to take nearly 40 years to openly declare them schismatics.

I mean. "you're changing too quickly/too much" is the way the complaint gets phrased in public, but that is not the core of the issue. For example, take Latin. If all they wanted was to have mass in Latin, they can do that. My understanding is that under the current Pope, you don't even have to get special dispensation to do it! You can have every mass in Latin if you want!

... what you can't do is use the old wording which blames all Jews for the death of Jesus, no matter which language you use.

And there's a bunch of other stuff like that, where you look at which traditions they want to keep that the Vatican isn't letting them, and it's not just "tradition." They talk about tradition and what they actually mean is antisemitism, fascist-leaning stuff, racism, and misogyny.

If the Roman Catholic Church is telling you you're too antisemitic, too racist, too misogynist ... yikes.

Here's some advice that might help!

Get some pad friendly boxers (even if you don't usually use pads it's good to have just in case)

If you do use pads, switch to tampons if you can!

Remind yourself that your body's testosterone is higher than usual on your period, this usually works surprisingly well for negating my own dysphoria

the thing with the whole "well trans men have male privilege thing" is firstly. literally no. but even if you take the example of the "stealth trans guy who passes extremely well so people see him as a cis guy" is that he still has to hide his identity to access that privilege and if someone finds out hes trans that privilege is most likely to be taken away. so it isnt really privilege.
