An Outside Chance Author Update #2
Hello again, readers! A long time has once more passed since my last update to the fic, so I wanted to catch you up on things again. Don't worry, I am still not here to claim my fic as abandoned. Updates will eventually happen again, even if any semblance of a schedule has been thrown out the window.
After nearly three years, my fiancé and I have officially overcome the long-distance stage of our relationship. It was a long and stressful year of preparations as we strived to get visas and make a big international move. Of course, this came with a very heavy emotional toll as I had to separate from my family.
All this left me absolutely exhausted, with little to no brain power left to write or even read much. I'll add to that the general Marvel Exhaustion, too, which hit me somewhere around the time She-Hulk aired. I've not been keeping up with any of the shows or movies since then, except for the Fantastic 4. My fiancé recently introduced me to the Uncanny X-Men and X-Men '97 as a way to get me into comic books, using my newfound obsession with Gambit and Rogue as a hook. It's been fun, but I keep coming back to my own DnD characters for better entertainment.
Anyway, my hope is that things will soon calm down again, and I'll be able to go back to writing. For now, I have less than two months to plan a wedding and file more paperwork for legal status things. Help.
